  1. After having had some glitches with the latest version of Malwarebytes Premium 3.5.1 despite it running for a week or more with no problems until these problems occurred, I did a clean re-installation using the Support Tool. Thereafter, I've had problems with the Tray Icon going missing at Startup, Web Protection not starting and then Ransomware Protection not starting. As I said, 3.5.1 ran well when I first installed it and I don't know why I'm suddenly getting problems. I attach the MB Support Tool Logs.

  2. Yes, I'll look forward to this being fixed on my Nexus 7 2013. If I clear the app's Data (not a one step operation because of Malwarebytes' self protection settings) then automatic updates restart for about a week then fail again. Interrogating the app Settings/Other/Force Update returns a Last Update Response date at least a day old and neither returns a message that the app updates are current nor a message that updates are downloading. No problem with my LEAGOO M8 Pro phone, which updates as expected.

  3. Hi Devin,

No, don't have anything like that. Could it be anything to do with the awful satellite broadband system I'm stuck with in rural France? It's slow with dreadful latency and I believe there are all sorts of algorithms in the system that throttle some activities at certain times. If I browse to https://keystone.mwbsys.com/ I get a little OK as shown

  4. Used the support tool to carry out a clean re-installation but the message warning me of difficulty in contacting the licence server persists when I open Malwarebytes from the system tray. When I close that warning message, Malwarebytes then appears to load as expected with no errors showing. I did have to manually re-enter my Premium codes on re-installation - they weren't picked up automatically, but I can't remember whether or not that was the norm or not.

  5. Thanks for your input but, no, I don't have any other security software that has not run comfortably with recent versions of Malwarebytes 3. My setup is as below. I hope that a staff member will check the logs above for any clues. Meanwhile, I'm going to do a clean install (yet again) with the support tool.

  6. Malwarebytes 3.5.1 is running well on my Windows 7 system but I still get occasional messages when I open the program that it cannot contact the licence server, although the program does open and my licence details are shown correctly on the account details tab. I attach the support tool logs. I haven't yet tried a clean re-installation, but that would be my next step - it's often resolved problems in the past but I've had to do it more often than I would like!

  7. I've been running Malwarebytes 3.5 Beta since its release and now updated to 3.5.1 and all seems fine. I don't think the option was there before, but it's nice to see English UK offered as an installation language which means we Brits get the date format we expect. As I reported in the Beta forum, the intermittent problem I'd been experiencing of the DDA drivers not loading correctly in Windows 7 has not shown up in 3.5 Beta and I presume that'll be the case with 3.5.1. Thanks for the added stability.

  8. Just to say that I've been running the new BETA for a couple of days and all seems fine with my Windows 7 laptop. Hoping that this update would resolve the issue with the DDA driver which I'd successfully worked around by changing Malwarebytes Service to Automatic (Delayed Start) as advised by @nikhils, I changed it back to the default Automatic setting before updating - I don't know whether 3.5 is supposed to have resolved this issue, but it's not reoccurred yet.

Otherwise, looks nice and feels a little more responsive but I've no figures to back that up.

  9. The transferability of licences has been discussed recently on these forums and I'm pretty sure the terms and conditions are specific on the point, and that they may be deactivated and transferred between machines owned by the purchaser but not transferred to a third party. The thread I remember concerned the legality of selling "unused" licences on Ebay. I'm sure somebody from Malwarebytes will clarify this if I'm wrong.

Can you do the following for me--

    1. Open the Run dialog (Press "Windows" + R keys)
    2. Type in "services.msc"
    3. Find "Malwarebytes Service" > Right-click and go to "Properties"
    4. Change "Startup type:" to "Automatic (Delayed Start)"
    5. Hit Apply and close the window
    6. Reboot machine

Thank you, let me know if you still get the DDA error on start up.

I had also suffered also occasional DDA driver warnings and started a thread - was similarly advised to change the Malwarebytes Service startup type and so far that seems to have solved my problem.
