That's great - thanks for your prompt response.

I'm running version 1.0.30 in the latest version of Vivaldi 2.0.1309.29 (Stable channel) (64-bit) and it's blocking https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl

@dcollins - sorry for the delay, life got in the way again.
I've had two problems occurring around the same time, the second of which is, I believe, unrelated and caused by one of my USB backup drives that may be failing that has caused a couple of failures and blue screens and I've now taken out of service. The Windows Reliability Monitor shows the errors reported as being Malwarebytes related along with the USB drive failure issues, but I think the second may be the main substance of the Memory Dump. Even compressed, it's 4.7 GB, so I can't upload it through wetranfer.com. I attach the Support Tool results generated when the Malwarebytes errors were being reported, along with 3 minidump files from that day, including 092418-27222-01.dmp

Hope I'm not tempting fate but, apart from the issues on installation that prompted my opening this thread, all seems to be running well with version 3.6.1 Premium on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64x. So far, no issues with having the Malwarebytes Service set at the default Automatic rather than Delayed Start (the setting recommended to me as a workaround to avoid the driver issues I'd had previously).

That's good news - thanks for the update.

Hi Devin,
I'm a long time Malwarebytes user and have a lifetime Premium licence with ID & key.
-
Happy to provide any logs or run further tests if they can help with issues.
-
Thanks @exile360 - it's no problem, I'll report on the performance with the Malwarebytes Service set to Automatic. If I get any other problems, I'll probably do a reinstall.

Just updated to the latest version by selecting Settings / Application / Install Application Updates. I ended up with the free version, while I previously had the Premium version installed. Entering the Licence ID and Key sorted that out but some of my settings have remained while others have not been carried over. For instance, my scan schedule has been retained but the default one has also been added, my added Protected Applications have been retained but the Malwarebytes Service has been changed from Delayed Start, which I had set to resolve problems with the DDA Driver, to Automatic.
Everything else appears to be in order - do I still need the Delayed Start option for Malwarebytes Service or has this problem now been resolved and can I revert to Automatic?

Sorry, the link I tried to post above didn't work, but Component Version 1.0.421 is now the current release version.

I got no notifications of a new update but pressed the "Install Application Update" button out of boredom and got a new update which changed Malwarebytes to the version below. I do have the Beta Option Installation turned on but can't, at first glance, see any reference to this version in these forums.
UPDATE: Just seen @exile360 post above, so nothing to worry about, I guess.

Yes, if you go into Settings/Application and change the language to English UK, this will also change the date display format.

AdwCleaner is now part of the Malwarebytes family of products. The latest version has a very similar GUI to Malwarebytes 3.
-
No, just rebooted and installation went as expected - thanks for that.

Can't update Tweaking.com's Windows Repair. Had this problem before and it's now reoccurred when trying to update to the latest version 4.0.0.23 of Tweaking.com's Windows Repair. - I've had to disable Ransomware Protection for the update to work. Windows 7 and Malwarebytes Premium. Diagnostic files are attached.
-
I'm with @yereverluvinunclebert on this one. "Awesome" grates with me as well.......
-
Did you reboot the computer after the Beta update? If not, definitely worth a shot.
-
Thanks for the clarification, Devin, the Delayed Start work-around does the job for the moment.
-
Have installed this BETA and glad to see that all the programs I've since tried to update with Ransomware RTP re-enabled have completed without a hitch.
Am I right in assuming that this component update doesn't address the problem of the DDA driver occasionally failing to load in Windows 7 which I currently counter by changing the Malwarebytes Service to Automatic (Delayed Start)?

Not sure if this will help but, on my devices running Android 6, when the list of Apps is shown, at the top right next to the "cog wheel" there are three dots arranged vertically and clicking on them will give an option to show or hide System Apps. You could try showing System Apps and with luck the offending app should then display and you may be able to disable it. Good luck!

Thanks for your response. Haven't had a real opportunity to play with it yet, but I will add to this thread if I have any other comments.

Possibly corrupt? What format was it in? I've had issues with PDFs from legitimate sources over the years that have been impossible to open, no matter what software I've tried to use.
