  1. @dcollins - sorry for the delay, life got in the way again.

I've had two problems occurring around the same time, the second of which is, I believe, unrelated and caused by one of my USB backup drives that may be failing that has caused a couple of failures and blue screens and I've now taken out of service. The Windows Reliability Monitor shows the errors reported as being Malwarebytes related along with the USB drive failure issues, but I think the second may be the main substance of the Memory Dump. Even compressed, it's 4.7 GB, so I can't upload it through wetranfer.com. I attach the Support Tool results generated when the Malwarebytes errors were being reported, along with 3 minidump files from that day, including 092418-27222-01.dmp

  2. Hope I'm not tempting fate but, apart from the issues on installation that prompted my opening this thread, all seems to be running well with version 3.6.1 Premium on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64x. So far, no issues with having the Malwarebytes Service set at the default Automatic rather than Delayed Start (the setting recommended to me as a workaround to avoid the driver issues I'd had previously).

  3. Just updated to the latest version by selecting Settings / Application / Install Application Updates. I ended up with the free version, while I previously had the Premium version installed. Entering the Licence ID and Key sorted that out but some of my settings have remained while others have not been carried over. For instance, my scan schedule has been retained but the default one has also been added, my added Protected Applications have been retained but the Malwarebytes Service has been changed from Delayed Start, which I had set to resolve problems with the DDA Driver, to Automatic.

Everything else appears to be in order - do I still need the Delayed Start option for Malwarebytes Service or has this problem now been resolved and can I revert to Automatic?

  4. Have installed this BETA and glad to see that all the programs I've since tried to update with Ransomware RTP re-enabled have completed without a hitch.

Am I right in assuming that this component update doesn't address the problem of the DDA driver occasionally failing to load in Windows 7 which I currently counter by changing the Malwarebytes Service to Automatic (Delayed Start)?

  5. Not sure if this will help but, on my devices running Android 6, when the list of Apps is shown, at the top right next to the "cog wheel" there are three dots arranged vertically and clicking on them will give an option to show or hide System Apps. You could try showing System Apps and with luck the offending app should then display and you may be able to disable it. Good luck!
