We'd party and tune to WDHA and listen at 2100 hrs ( or was it 2200 hrs ? ) to Alice's Restaurant. Eventually my buddy went to Amherst College in Amherst MA. When I went up to visit him, we went on a road trip to Stockbridge, MA, which was about an hour or so away. When we got back we were able to rent Alice's Restaurant on VHS at a local Video Store. ENTIRELY worth a scary drive through pouring rain and flooded highways to get there and back. The only regret was not staying for the 2nd night and 2nd concert. It's a shame you don't appreciate him - he is arguably the most popular and accomplished Blues and Blues-Rock composer and singer and guitar-player of his generation. He plays to PACKED houses all over Europe, ESPECIALLY Amsterdam, where the Blues are VERY popular. You ought to go see him live when he comes on his next tour.
