  1. Be happy MB removes the "hard" stuff and not a PUP that is easy to uninstall. Per Porthos post.
  2. Nobody heard of it. MB and Spywareblaster do the same thing. It's called "six of one half of a dozen of another"
  3. Make sure you have the latest version 2.0.3.1025
  4. OK, Thanks. I don't like someone "picking on" a program I am running. lol
  5. An error where ? I was wondering why he uninstalled Outpost
  6. I run Outpost Security Suite and MB on 5 machines, 2 with ram disks, without any problems. What and where are these errors.. 3 Win 8 and 2 Win 7
  7. On my machines also. It's something in the program and lets hope it is not the cure for the other problems. This is my first problem through all versions.
  8. One thing they will tell you, is not to run two antivirus programs at the same time, AVG and AVAST. Other than that I will say no more.
  9. We all know that some systems are having problems and expect that the program will be corrected. I guess I am one of the "lucky" ones.
  10. Settings >> General Settings >>>> on the right Explorer Context menu entry YES
  11. Thanks for all the great information. Seems to run ok since I tested it, but really don't know for sure. Funny thing is, if I need to run it, I probably will have lost the info. Will just need to search.
  12. That was the information I was looking for. Thank You
  13. I saw the other post about a problem and thought it would be good to get some info about it, just in case I needed to run it.
  14. Are there step by step instructions around. Nothing in the 2.0 manual.
  15. Always get Flash Player here. The Flash Player Distribution page is a good place to get these: http://www.adobe.com/special/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html Don't forget the uninstallers: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
  16. She would have to search for >file explorer< from the search box and look for it. I don't use tiles, but it is there. On the left end, bottom of the tiles area is a down arrow which brings you to all programs that are installed. 8.1 is a crazy animal
  17. Right click on the tray icon and uncheck. Or, settings > detection & protection uncheck on the right side
  18. I would suggest that you do not use auto quarantine because a false positive can really mess things up. If you get a hit during a scan, you have a chance to research the file first before doing anything.
  19. You could try to uninstall Directory Opus to test. I had it running on 4 machines with XP, 7, and now 8.1 and it never caused a problem.
  20. It depends on what the ram disk is used for. I only run Einstiein at Home on mine. Running a scan on a ram disk for a system folder is not a good idea. Mine is not a freeware product if that even makes a difference.
