MB 3.3 - Here we go again
nikhils replied to maltelboy's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Hello @maltelboy Can you please give this a try: 1. Use the mb-clean tool from here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb_clean and clean up and reinstall the product. 2. Once the product is installed go to Settings/ Applications tab and click on the "Install Application Updates" button. This should ask for a restart of the Malwarebytes product to install the latest Cu 1.0.262 Please let us know if that actually worked. Thank you -

nikhils replied to Denn1's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Hello @Denn1 Glad to know everything worked out. Just to be sure not that you can launch Malwarebytes in the normal mode, I would recommend turn on the Root-kit scan option under settings and run a threat scan just to be sure. Thank you. -
The beta Component update has the fix for the updates not starting issue. Can you please give that a go and let us know if you are still seeing the issue. Please follow the diagrams that @Porthos sent. After getting the beta update your CU version should be 1.0.261

Hello @pmcjr The beta build that @Porthos sent out has the fix for the Real time protection not starting. What was happening was there was a bad update due to which the web protection driver was stuck in a race condition and would not start. The latest beta should have the fix. Thank you. -

3.2.2 and Firefox like oil and water
nikhils replied to RBF's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Hello @RBF The MBAE.exe will be from your regular 1.11 install. The debug folder has only 4 files which you need to drop into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit folder After that run MBAE.exe which was installed as a part of the 1.11 installer. -
Can you please follow the forum post below and send us the logs:
