  1. I have been back & forth on an open ticket. 3.2.2 automatically downloaded and installed on my XP machine. (I have since turned off automatic and opted for notify me). I had the problem that others have reported where Malwarebytes would cause Firefox to not run. It was also causing me other problems with Norton's Antivirus. I uninstalled both Malwarebytes and Nortons. Re-installed both and the same problrm occurred. Uninstalled both again. Reinstalled and then followed the suggestion to turn off Self Protection Module. That seemed to work for a short while. However, Firefox would repeatedly hang and then crash, requiring a system reboot. I was also then advised to place a list of files in the Exclusions of Norton. Note that I have been running both these programs for several years without exclusions and never had any problems. After putting these exclusions into Norton's, I had numerous other problems Downloaded cvs or pdf files would not launch and open from Firefox. Shortcuts to Excel and Word files would not work. Went back and removed all of those exclusions. Firefox works but still hangs and crashes after using it for a while - particularly when scrolling. Again - necessitating a system reboot. At this point, until there is a real fix for 3.2.2 I would like to uninstall it and reinstall 3.1, which was working perfectly fine.
  2. I am trying to update my Malware Premium 3.0.6 to 3.2.2.2029 and I receive a message stating that "Incompatible Malwarebytes Software Detected this version of is not compatible with the version you currently have installed." The new version willnot install and Malwarebytes repeatedly asks me to update. How do I stop with the updates or install the new version? Dean Reding
  3. I am having the same problem. I.e. Firefox will not load unless I disable Malwarebytes self protection. I am running: Malwarebytes V3.2.2.2029, Component package V 1.0.212, Update package V 1.0.3006 Firefox ESR V52.4.1 on an XP SP3 machine which I need to keep running for a while. I look forward to a solution that does not involve turning off features.
  4. For more than a week now malware protection in Malwarebytes 3.2.2 keeps turning itself off. When I try to change the setting back to On, it says "Starting..." and then after maybe a second or two switches back to Off (please see screenshot below). On at least one occasion, malware protection was on, but scan for rootkits was off, so apparently it's not just the one setting that changes. I've set the program to run as admin and that solved the issue for a while, but the malware protection setting has turned itself off multiple times since and I still have to reset it manually. Today I am unable to get it to turn back on. In searching for information about the problem, it appears that other people have had the same problem with earlier versions of the software, so presumably this is a known issue that has not yet been (successfully) addressed. Can someone please explain what is causing this and provide a solution that is permanent so that I don't have to fiddle with the settings every day and worry that my computer was infected while protection was turned off? I make a living with my computer, so it's important that it's protected properly. If relevant, the version is 3.2.2.2029, premium edition, component package version 1.0.188, update package version is 1.0.2834. My updates are current as of Sept. 18, 10:09 Pacific time. I am running Windows 8.1. Thank you!
  5. Got the 3.2.2 update a couple days ago amd just noticed that it is acting as my current virus protection program under security and maintenance, thus blocking the realtime scanning from Windows defender. Is there a way to solve this at the moment?
  6. Hello All, I've just downloaded this version and in Win 10 x 64, build 15063.540 I keep getting this alert from Windows Defender when scanning with MBAM, admin and limited user it is repeatable. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/threats/malware-encyclopedia-description?Name=Trojan:Win32/Dynamer!ac
  7. I have malwarebytes premium 3.1.2.1733, did i need to update manually to version 3.2.2 Or is it automatically updated?
