When I click on "Check for Updates," the exclamation point disappears for a moment, to be replaced by a green check, only to be replaced by the exclamation point again. I have not been able to update the protection since July. Thoughts?

Ran into some nasty malware and don't want to experience that again. Malwarebytes (free) saved me. I have a subscription to Bitdefender, but did not have it installed at the time. After MWB got rid of the demon, I reinstalled Bitdefender (in the middle of an annual subscription), and BD told me to get rid of MWB. I've since found this thread: Wondering at the wisdom or running both Malwarebytes Pro and Bitdefender together on the same machine. Again, I don't want to experience that demon again.

I have MB 3.8 14 day trial on my system. I've just tried to install Bitdefender free. It says it can't continue to install as I must remove MB first. a) should I uninstall MB and install BD first... then reinstall MB? ... does BD free allow exclusions? ... sounds like a hassle to me b) is MB all I need as an antivirus and malware solution. It says on your website that MB replaces antivirus

@treed I think it would be useful to be able to protect, as in the Windows version, the program settings (in particular the MY ACCOUNT tab where there is the license key) in general with a Pin so that they are not visible / modifiable by anyone accessing the Mac; being able to choose which tabs to protect would be ideal.

Hello. I solved the problem with the ransomware protection off by running the program in compatibility mode but then the anti-malware protection suddenly went off and then I got a blue screen and my PC restarted. I ran FRST and mb-check and uploaded the results here. Please tell me what to do next. Thank you for your time. mb-check-results.zip

I get a MB popup telling me real-time protection is not turned on. When I go into settings and try to turn on the protection, I am prevented from moving the switch to ON. In addition, I cannot open MB. I can open it in safe mode and do a scan, but it finds nothing. I have performed several scans with MBAR beta, finding nothing to clean.I also can not do a system restore. Windows 10 64 bit. I am a MB Premium Member. I've got rid of a virus thanks to Malwarebytes. However, I keep having a notification popping up every 10 seconds. It's always the same thing. Here is a screenshot. How do I get rid of it? It's pretty annoying! Thank you!

I have the premium Malwarebites but i'm not able to enable the Realtime protection. Every time I try to aneable this its is starting and after some seconds it is disabled again. what's the problem here?

I'm running Malwareby 3 on my Win 10 computer. Last week I noticed a massive data upload and was wondering which program (other than the usual suspects Dropbox, Google Drive and Onedrive) would upload so much data from my PC. Turned out that within three hours, Malwarebytes MBAMService.Exe has uploaded no less than 250MB of data (see screenshot). How many anonymous user data can malware collect to upload 250MB of my data? A query to the technical team which data were uploaded: "I cannot provide you a copy of the data that was uploaded because I do not have access to it.". Also, the question if

After upgrading my malwarebytes to the latest version 3.4.5, the exploit protection feature hasn't switched on, even after numerous system restarts. Has anyone got a fix for the web protection not coming. I have sent email after email to support and have never got a response. I would like to know why I am paying for a premium account when I am not able to use the web protection. For 4 days now my malwarebtyes has detected over 400 pup, viruses and Trojans because my web protection will not turn on. I have web browsers opening on their own. I have uninstalled the software 5 time and reinstalled it and noting works.

I have a problem like this. The problem with the installed program is that I am getting an error message attached and when I click Turn On it does not turn on and reverts to the same message. I just had a Windows update and that might be the problem. I ran the programs to help diagnose and they are attached mb-check-results.zip

Ever since I bought malwarebytes 3.0, the Web Protection ocassionally turned off by itself and it would stay off for days. Even after clicking "turn it on" many times, it would remain off. I bought malwarebytes about 6 months ago. And now, for the past month, it has never been on at all. How do I fix this? Attached *.zip as requested by the bot - see quoted the bot. This is somewhere at or about the 10th time over the past several years that I have been stuck with a ‘Real-Time Protection’ error that I have previously fixed via a clean install as noted in other forum posts. I'm also seeing this issue suddenly today. MB has been running fine for months, and haven't made any system changes I'm aware of ... other than MB has updated to v 3.3.1 ! It might be an idea to test updates before inflicting them on users automatically!

There's a notice on my computer telling me that real time protections are turned off. I have gone to Manage Protection Settings and when I attempt to turn on the real time protections, it says starting then quits. I have done this several times with the same result. What do I do to correct this issue?
