  1. How do I clear all Protection History and reset all 3 to Zero? Attached screenshot of Malwarebytes Premium main page.
  2. I have the premium Malwarebites but i'm not able to enable the Realtime protection. Every time I try to aneable this its is starting and after some seconds it is disabled again. what's the problem here?
  3. I'm running Malwareby 3 on my Win 10 computer. Last week I noticed a massive data upload and was wondering which program (other than the usual suspects Dropbox, Google Drive and Onedrive) would upload so much data from my PC. Turned out that within three hours, Malwarebytes MBAMService.Exe has uploaded no less than 250MB of data (see screenshot). How many anonymous user data can malware collect to upload 250MB of my data? A query to the technical team which data were uploaded: "I cannot provide you a copy of the data that was uploaded because I do not have access to it.". Also, the question if 250MB data upload is within the normal range, remained unanswered. Checking where the data were uploaded to, it was an Amazon server. It appears Malwarebytes has a massive problem, and tech support is not informed.
  4. How can we do a password reset of the admin account in the Malwarebytes Management Console (Endpoint Protection)? Thanks!
  5. Hi, I am unable to switch on exploit protection on my premium account? I downloaded the latest version today, is that causing an issue for some reason? Any help would be great. I tried switching on and off and running as administrator but neither helped. Thanks
  6. After upgrading my malwarebytes to the latest version 3.4.5, the exploit protection feature hasn't switched on, even after numerous system restarts. I'm currently running Windows 10 Home Build 1803, OS Build 17133.1, installed on 2018/04/08 Please find the mb-check-results.zip attached. mb-check-results.zip
  7. Has anyone got a fix for the web protection not coming. I have sent email after email to support and have never got a response. I would like to know why I am paying for a premium account when I am not able to use the web protection. For 4 days now my malwarebtyes has detected over 400 pup, viruses and Trojans because my web protection will not turn on. I have web browsers opening on their own. I have uninstalled the software 5 time and reinstalled it and noting works.
  8. Hello, I have the same problem since the last update. My version 3.4.5 no way to turn on web protection
  9. The first thing under real-time protection is off, but no matter where I click it, it remains off, it will not turn on. I am currently on the premium free trial, yet it says I should have access to it.
  10. I have a problem like this. The problem with the installed program is that I am getting an error message attached and when I click Turn On it does not turn on and reverts to the same message. I just had a Windows update and that might be the problem. I ran the programs to help diagnose and they are attached mb-check-results.zip
  11. Ever since I bought malwarebytes 3.0, the Web Protection ocassionally turned off by itself and it would stay off for days. Even after clicking "turn it on" many times, it would remain off. I bought malwarebytes about 6 months ago. And now, for the past month, it has never been on at all. How do I fix this? I ran the FRST and MB-check logand attached the zip file to this topic. mb-check-results.zip

Real Time Protection will not stay on

Attached *.zip as requested by the bot - see quoted the bot. This is somewhere at or about the 10th time over the past several years that I have been stuck with a ‘Real-Time Protection’ error that I have previously fixed via a clean install as noted in other forum posts. That is, until Malwarebytes inevitably and abruptly fails again. The error is always that same and identical to the first post in this forum. I am starting to feel like Malwarebytes may not know what they are doing - I am seriously losing confidence in Malware technical competence. Additionally - my Real-Time protection time-loop that has occurred several times; wherein, I have read previous forums and then executed the instructions for a clean install . . . . By which, every time, I always end up to the same general error - and yes, I know how google and similar search engines work. So, I really do not need the recommendation to perform a web search as I want a real and direct answer not a run of the mill and often ill-informed general rebuttal, which is not an answer. Basically, I hate forums and have found that asking for any reasonable answer via the internet to be as helpful as asking the local crackhead to help to repair my car. Useless . . . I expect from this post [AKA] shot in the dark, a stupid bot response or a response by some forum-monkey who thinks they are being useful by stating something obvious . . . . Malwarebytes, I am tired of your games! mb-check-results.zip

  15. Ran into some nasty malware and don't want to experience that again. Malwarebytes (free) saved me. I have a subscription to Bitdefender, but did not have it installed at the time. After MWB got rid of the demon, I reinstalled Bitdefender (in the middle of an annual subscription), and BD told me to get rid of MWB. I've since found this thread: Wondering at the wisdom or running both Malwarebytes Pro and Bitdefender together on the same machine. Again, I don't want to experience that demon again.
  16. I'm also seeing this issue suddenly today. MB has been running fine for months, and haven't made any system changes I'm aware of ... other than MB has updated to v 3.3.1 ! It might be an idea to test updates before inflicting them on users automatically!
  17. There's a notice on my computer telling me that real time protections are turned off. I have gone to Manage Protection Settings and when I attempt to turn on the real time protections, it says starting then quits. I have done this several times with the same result. What do I do to correct this issue?
  18. I just recently purchased MAlwarebytes premium, version 3.2.2, and I cannot get Web Protection or Malware Protection to stay on. Web Protection shows that it is starting but it never starts, and Malware protection keeps resetting to Off. What is wrong with it?
  19. Hello I have the same problem also on 3.3.1 mb-check-results.zip
  20. Starting this morning the MB service is consuming between 15 and 20% of the CPU at all times. Also the real-time protection will not start. I've tried using the clean tool and re-installing while Windows defender was disabled and still no luck. Any thoughts on what else to try?
  21. My malwarebytes just locked up my PC since today. When I restarted my PC I noticed it is using an exorbitant amount of RAM to the point that my PC can barely do anything else. It is sucking up about 90% of my RAM at the moment. The web protection is also disabled and refuses to be turned on. Please help. I have already included the FRST log & MB Check log. mb-check-results.txt
  22. I noticed the real time web protection has turned off. I tried to turn it on, and it said "starting." A notification appeared five minutes later saying malwarebytes could not contact the license server. I turned off any firewalls - no effect. I wihtelisted all services and apps in malwarebytes folder. No effect. I uninstalled and reinstalled. No effect. Tried in safe mode - no effect. Ran malwarebytes cleanup app from your site - when I reinstalled it would no longer let me register my license (which is valid and came up with two green ticks), and multiple messages for the license server came up. App crashed when trying to input license details. So here are the files your support threat requested: (please delete this thread since there's probably a stupid amount of personal data contained in these logs...)
  23. When I go to the settings/ protection page and turn on web protection, it's stuck in the "starting" mode and never gets turned on. As per the instructions I found on this website, I switched "enable self-protection module early start" on, and rebooted the computer. When that didn't work, I switched "enable self-protection module" off and rebooted. When that didn't work, I uninstalled the program, downloaded and installed a fresh copy, entered my license key, and the same thing happened. I've attached a shot of the program starting but never turning on. Please advise what my next step is. Thank you. Best Regards, Martin Victor
  24. Like others... Real time web protection will not stay on. I have had MB running with AVG Free for years and never a problem until AVG decided not to play nice with MB. Fine. I purchased WebRoot and ran that along with MB. This worked fine until a day or 2 ago. Now the protection will not stay on. The only thing different I have done lately is overclock my CPU. I can't imagine that would cause the problem. Help? Thank you. mb-check-results.zip
