  1. Here is the DelFix Log. I just want to say one last time, Thank you so much Aura for your time and effort in walking me through all this. My PC is a huge part of my life and having it be trouble free now is priceless! You Rock! DelFix.txt
  2. It is possible. I will pay closer attention to this in the future. Other than that, PC is running great. Just working on trying to get everything back to where it was before my reinstall on Saturday.
  3. Here is the Autoruns Scan zip of my PC. The thing is, its only part of the time and the programs that open are completely random. Mostly it's chrome and random MS word or excel docs. ERIC-PC.zip
  4. One thing I want to add that I have noticed in Windows 10 is... After initial start up or logging back into windows after lock screen, sometimes (about 50% of the time) random programs will open up by themselves. Like Chrome, MS Word or a media player etc. etc. I always found this a little troubling. Any thoughts on this?
  5. Hi! I performed ALL the steps on that thread. MB did NOT find anything at all on any of the three threat scans I conducted throughout the instructed process.
  6. Here is the fix log. My system is seems to be running fine. There were those two PUPs that MB kept finding and I kept quarantining that you mentioned to remind you about. Unless that is what we just fixed. Fixlog.txt

  10. Here you go. Those two PUPS in Chrome seem to always be there, not sure what they are. I quarantine them every time. But they always come back. I don't notice any bad behavior from them so I am not too worried. Any insights? 11. Just going to add that at the moment, my PC seems to behaving normally. I know that still means little at this point but it's something. I went ahead and added Ublock Origin to my chrome browser as simply an extra method of protection. I am going to be super careful from now on. I was careful before but all it takes is one bad download....Waiting for further or final instructions. Thanks again for all your help, it is greatly appreciated
  12. I was able to get to the Recovery Environment, took some time but I got it. It appears at the moment that my MB web Protection IS working. Here is the log. Fixlog.txt
  13. Ok, I was able to do all the above steps. My MB web protection is still not working after reboot from recovery mode. I used safe mode with command prompt. Here is the fixlog from the USB. Thanks for all your help, still have a ways to go. Fixlog.txt
  14. Yes, I have a 16gb flash that I used for my windows install that I can use. Here is the fixlog Fixlog.txt
  15. I was able to run the scan. It said nothing found. I know I was infected with this on Saturday. The thing is, I did a clean install of windows on a new SSD. Could this thing be hiding on a different drive? mbar-log-2017-12-04 (18-34-24).txt
