  1. Hello, I have the same problem since the last update. My version 3.4.5 no way to turn on web protection
  2. The first thing under real-time protection is off, but no matter where I click it, it remains off, it will not turn on. I am currently on the premium free trial, yet it says I should have access to it.
  3. I have a problem like this. The problem with the installed program is that I am getting an error message attached and when I click Turn On it does not turn on and reverts to the same message. I just had a Windows update and that might be the problem. I ran the programs to help diagnose and they are attached mb-check-results.zip
  4. Ever since I bought malwarebytes 3.0, the Web Protection ocassionally turned off by itself and it would stay off for days. Even after clicking "turn it on" many times, it would remain off. I bought malwarebytes about 6 months ago. And now, for the past month, it has never been on at all. How do I fix this?   6. Hi Ever since I had to do a clean install of Windows 10 on Saturday. I have not been able to get the Web Protection turned on for malwarebytes. I have tried the MB clean tool and closing from the system tray and running as admin from the shortcut. Please advise. mb-check-results.zip FRST.txt Addition.txt
  7. My Web Protection (3.2.2) will not turn on even with a reinstall. It stays in the "starting" mode.
  8. I just got the same. Ransomware protection stuck on starting. I solved it for now by restarting the Malwarebytes Service and restarting the MB application.
  9. Even if I reset settings as an administrator, malware and ransomware protection won't stay on, after I restart the program. Note: I use Avast in all its glory because both these programs play well together. Any ideas would help.
  10. For reasons I won't go into, primarily that sometimes I am an idiot, I had to restore my desktop to factory settings last night. This morning, I reinstalled Malwarebytes Premium v 3.0.5. I got a message that some real time protection features were turned off. I was able to turn on everything but Ransomware Protection. When I tried to turn that on, it says Starting... by the button and just hangs. It's been like that for a good 15 minutes now. Help? My computer is a Dell XPS 8910 and I'm running Windows 10 Home.   11. Being using Malwarebytes Premium for 2 months without issues. All of the sudden the Web Protection stop working and turned itself off for no reason. Web protection is off. This despite having latest version 3.1.2 installed and purchased the one year premium option. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it in hope of getting it the Web Protection to work again. After fresh installation the program reactivated Web Protection ON, only to turn it off after 5 min of use.   12. I have been getting notices of my Real time protection not being on. I don't know why, I always keep everything enabled. It won't turn on, it says starting, but never turns on. There was another option that got turned off as well. Why is this suddenly happening? I tried rebooting, but that didn't help.
  13. Hi Guys, I am testing MMC for awhile now and I really like it but at times, on few of the users, the Anti-exploit Shield turns off automatically. I don't know what triggers it or how to solve it. I went over to the machine/client and saw that the shield was off and saw that the anti-exploit service was off whereas anti-malware was running just fine and had no issues what so ever.   14. My MB 3.05 on 64-bit W8.1 had the same issue after couple of days of installing MB. The web protection would not start, no matter what I've done. As a last result prior to removing MB, I've logged in as local admin and tried starting the web protection. Low and behold, the web protection activated just fine. I am not certain why the web protection stopped and why the standard (non-admin level) user account wasn't able to start it.
  15. For me, malware realtime protection was off on a perfectly clean windows 10 installation. I enabled it and it was also stuck at starting. I waited a few minutes and restarted my PC. Every since then, it is set as "on" and everything seems to be working fine. Looks more like a visual glitch where the button does not move from "starting" to "on"
