Hello and Welcome! See below for release notes, Play Mode is a new feature they added to Malwarebytes v3.7.1. Are you running the Paid version or Trial? That being said, it just looks like an advertisement on your screen shot, nothing to get rid of. https://www.malwarebytes.com/support/guides/mb/Settings.html?lang=en#playmode

Account settings - User Access
Firefox replied to tommcm's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Hello and Welcome! The only way to remove the forgotten password is to uninstall the software and then re-install it. Please do the following and it should correct the issue: Run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started) Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here Please let us know how it goes and if the issue persists or if any additional issues occur. Thanks -
Hello and Welcome! Here is something you can try to resolve the issues. Go to Folder C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\instlrupdate If there is an update file in there delete the file found in there Reboot the computer and see if you are still prompted to install an update

Just going out on a limb here... sometimes when you start a reply and forget to hit Submit Reply it auto saves and next time you go to reply in the same topic it will show up in the window, perhaps that is what happened. You can click on Clear Editor to clear the cache... -

Last updated 2/13/2019 DNS Infrastructure Hijacking Campaign Summary The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), part of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), is aware of a global Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure hijacking campaign. Using compromised credentials, an attacker can modify the location to which an organization’s domain name resources resolve. This enables the attacker to redirect user traffic to attacker-controlled infrastructure and obtain valid encryption certificates for an organization’s domain names, enabling man-in-the-middle attacks. See the following links for downloadable copies of open-source indicators of compromise (IOCs) from the sources listed in the References section below: https://www.us-cert.gov/ncas/alerts/AA19-024A

Xdebug blocked on first try
Firefox replied to Fred_L's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
OK, now please provide the requested logs from post #2 above so the team can have a look to see if they can tell what may be going on... Also have you tried excluding the program in Malwarebytes? I would try that next. Have look in this article: https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1130 -
Then use only the windows tools, the tools provided with windows have gotten a whole lot better in the years...

As already mentioned above, this program is snake oil. You don't need it. Most of what it claims it will do is already build into Windows and you can use CCleaner to clean up temp files if you wanted to. I would remove it from my computer.

Hello and Welcome to Malwarebytes I know you can exclude the program itself, but I do not believe there is a way to exclude ports. That being said, you may want to update to the latest version 3.7.1 to see if it helps with your issues. Download the Latest MB3 v3.7.1.2839 CU 1.0.538 from ->>RIGHT HERE<<- -

Malware protection, unable to turn on
Firefox replied to samperuso1's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
While we wait for @LiquidTension to review your logs... I see you are on Windows 7 Home and are still running version 3.6.1. Have you tried installing the latest version 3.7.1? There were some issues on some windows 7 computers with version 3.6.1 that were getting some freezes. Perhaps upgrading to version 3.7.1 may fix your issues. Firefox replied to CarpenterMate's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Something to keep in mind.... Malwarebytes consumer version will not scan "network drives", if its an attached USB drive on the local computer or a second hard drive, then yes it will scan those. -
