unable to install (program do not respond)
Firefox replied to DaDep's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
After skimming through your logs, I would recommend you do a clean removal and reinstall of Malwarebytes. If that does not correct it then we can gather some NEW logs and dig in deeper to see what might be causing the issue for you. Please download the Malwarebytes Support Tool and use it to do a Clean Removal and reinstall of Malwarebytes Download Malwarebytes Support Tool Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program You may be prompted by the User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent. Place a check-mark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next You will be presented with a page stating, "Welcome to the Malwarebytes Support Tool!" Click the Advanced Options link - do not click Get Started Click the CLEAN button | A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed to remove Malwarebytes from your computer Upon completion, click OK Follow the onscreen prompts to reboot and reinstall Malwarebytes If you do not get prompted to reinstall Malwarebytes then download the latest version from the link below. Download the Latest MB3 v3.6.1.2711 CU 1.0.527 from ->>RIGHT HERE<<- Then let me know if you're still having issues getting Malwarebytes to start. Thanks -

CU 527 Test Preview Build - AOK!
Firefox replied to 1PW's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
I have installed that latest version however this file is unchanged for me an is dated 9/19/2018. It does not have today's date so I would assume this is not for the current build of 527, as it does not mention anything about the Freeze issue. -
Hello and Welcome to Malwarebytes, a Full scan will take some time to scan a drive. All that is really needed is a Threat Scan, that will scan all the places where malware likes to hide and clean up your system. Also if you enable Rootkit scanning that will also increase the time it takes it to scan a drive. As for the screenshot above, since you were doing a Full scan, that would explain whey Malwarebytes Service was using up your hard drive as in the screenshot shows.
