  1. I purchased a 2-year license for 2 devices and I had to reformat 1 of my PCs. The reformatted PC is now running Malwarebytes Free Trial but won't accept my license. Here's a screenshot.
  2. Hi, i brought my license a long time ago, when the license lifetime was available, now lately i have this problem, see image below, say impossible to contact server license!
  3. I had ran a rootkit scan got 3 winzips. I removed these and after doing so malwarebytes has been having problems contacting the license server, it asks me to check my network settings. I could restore them but i have read their are no necessary rootkits for malwarebytes to run and this only happens on one of the two computers i have malwarebytes installed on.

I can't understand why Malwarebytes do not allowed me to sell my license information while there is many online listing that has not even removed!   5. So I got two free keys given to me from Marcin Kleczynski of Malwarebytes over on Reddit. Because I got given a key I didnt have to sign up for an account. I reformatted my PC which I activated MBAM 3 Pro on with the key and forgot to deactivate it first now I cant use that key on my new installed windows 10. The normal process would be to sign into your account and deactivate the license from the list of your devices but because I got given the key and therefore donot have an acount how can I deactivate my license so I can use it on my new OS?

Hello, I just downloaded MB3 and clicked the button to purchase, created an account on the website and purchased a 1 year, 1 device license but the confirmation screen doesnt show me an activation/license code and I never got an email for the purchase. I got other emails when creating the account but nothing for purchasing. In addition, when I refresh my dashboard, it doesnt say I have any subscriptions. What happened? Did my money get taken?? I see the money withdrawn from my paypal account already from Avangate INC. FYI. I have no idea what to do here...
  9. So I had to reformat my laptop (again) due to the MBR being corrupted and Windows 10 not launching. After reinstalling Windows and MBAM, I went to find my license (which was newly repurchased just last month for the new year) in my email and attempt to reactivate. I was notified of the following: Selecting the only useful option takes me to the webpage where I can view all my previous licenses on the account. I see my current active one, currently using it's one and only seat and I select the [Deactivate All] key to deactivate the instance of MBAM that was assigned to my computer as it used to be. I see a momentary green pop-up indicating the action was complete which quickly disappears plus some spam about MBAM being available for Mac, but the license area seems to still indicate my license is seated. And when I attempt to activate the license again on the application, there is no change. I've tried a few different basic browser troubleshooting steps to no avail. I'm just trying to secure my laptop the way I always have, but the website doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me. Is it the website itself that is being the issue, or something I'm doing wrong? Help would be appreciated. Please and thanks.

  11. Hello dear friends, Please I need some help. I just renewed my license. I did received an email with my IDs and asking me to activate license again. When I try to do it, teh "Activate License" in not working, I mean, when I write both my Id and license code, the button "Activate License" is not activated and therefore I am unable to activate my license again. I did uninstalled Malwerbytes, reinstaled it (with most recent download) and still not working. Please anybody can help me? Thank you. Antonio

Hello everyone, in the attempt of keeping this short - after my pc randomly crashed after remaining idle for about twenty minutes, upon reboot, my Malwarebytes wouldn't let me enable realtime protection anymore. Following the steps scattered across the forums, I used the cleaning tool provided elsewhere and rebooted my computer several times. Since then, I'm stuck with MBAM Free with the error of not being able to contact the license servers. Following other topics, I disabled my Windows Firewall while activating the license, no luck with that sadly. I've attached the check results as required. Regards, ~Niklas / baabaablackgoat EDIT: Apparently this is directly related to an update? About the crash I had: Firefox suddenly froze while having a twitch.tv tab open. It then reported that all my tabs have crashed. I wasn't able to open Task Manager or the Recovery Screen, or really any new program, including MBAM. I could not shut down my computer with the respective option, so I had to cut the power. mb-check-results.zip
  13. I had to do a fresh install of Malwarebytes on my PC today and now when I try to activate my license, it is grayed out. Wondering what to do to get my coverage back up and running. I only have a License Key, I do not have an ID to go along with it.

So today when I logged on to my PC to do my daily scan with premium it told me that it was unable to contact the license server and all of my premium protection turned off, essentially reverting me to the free version. I tried to put my license key in but the application then froze and wouldn't do anything. so I had to close it out through task manager. Then, when I reopened it, I had my premium status back. Then when I tried to update my definitions, it was telling me that an update was already in progress even thought it wasn't displaying as such, so after a few minutes I managed to get a scan going and it went through just fine, except the I started getting the unable to contact license server message constantly. so I waited for the scan to finish, the restarted my computer. I click on the application, and I'm no longer premium again, except this time it won't even let me put in my product key, which I just renewed in December. So I uninstalled and then reinstalled it from the main website and I still can't enter my product key. I have no idea what the problem could be, whether its something with my system or if its something on malwarebytes end. Please help.
  15. I noticed the real time web protection has turned off. I tried to turn it on, and it said "starting." A notification appeared five minutes later saying malwarebytes could not contact the license server. I turned off any firewalls - no effect. I wihtelisted all services and apps in malwarebytes folder. No effect. I uninstalled and reinstalled. No effect. Tried in safe mode - no effect. Ran malwarebytes cleanup app from your site - when I reinstalled it would no longer let me register my license (which is valid and came up with two green ticks), and multiple messages for the license server came up. App crashed when trying to input license details. So here are the files your support threat requested: (please delete this thread since there's probably a stupid amount of personal data contained in these logs...)
  16. Hi I currently have Malware Bytes Premium 3.3.1.2183 installed on one Win 10 laptop... I believe it is a lifetime subscription. How many machines can I use this license on? If the license can only be installed / used on 1 machine - then how much will an additional license cost me (this is for home use only btw, thanks). Thanks, Muppet Man
  17. I bought Malwarebytes way back in the day in 2009 or 2010 when you could buy a lifetime license for 9 machines. So long ago I don't exactly remember when nor do I have the same email but I do have my original install disc and info. Never was a problem updating to new versions of Malwarebytes with my lifetime license for the past eight years until today. This is the same exact machine that had a valid license for years so don't give me that "you ran out of activations" nonsense. Is this simply a glitch with version 3.3.1 or, is Malwarebytes not going to honor the license of it's original customers? Seems there would be legal issues to the later.

I recently reinstalled Malwarebytes Premium 3.3.1 to try and correct an issue where it could not contact the server to download updates, but now after the reinstall I am stuck in Free with it giving the same error every time I try to enter in my License Key.   19. Hello, I've bought a premium version of Malewarebytes on September 18th, 2017 and received the license key and successfully installed it (on Windows 7). Everything worked fine. At the beginning of November I had to reformat my PC and reinstall my operating system. After that, I also wanted to reinstall my premium version of Malewarebytes. But when I try to activate my license/product key, I get the message that the number of activation has been reached. I have just installed once before on Windows 7. What can I do to reactivate my product (and my license/product key)? Thanks for your help in advance.
  20. Hello! I purchased Malwarebytes around three months ago and I have a question regarding the 'seat' statistic. Is it possible to acquire more seats so I can activate my purchased license to additional Windows PCs? My mother and father both bought their own computers and I'd like to add Malwarebytes Premium to their devices for their security but I only purchased the license for one device - My PC and to purchase another license for two computers would be a bit too costly right now as it costs £40. Would it be possible to add more seats to my license so I can activate my license of the antivirus to the additional two devices or would I have to purchase another license covering two devices? Any responses would be appreciated!
  21. I've sent on oct 20th a support ticket 2107268 without reply until today. 5 days without reply? At least one automatic message "we are working on it". I had the software installed on windows 7. I've formatted the pc and installed windows 10. When I tried to activate the license a message informing that the number of activation were reached. I have just installed once before on windows 7. What can I do to activate the product? I have 546 days remaining. The Reference number is 111137934.

  23. I just had a security "alert" from my browser. I went to see when Malware bytes Premium last ran. It has been COMPLETELY removed from my system. I do not remember any notice of yearly payment required. Does MWB just remove the software? How do I know if I need to renew if there is NOTHING left on the machine?

  25. Hello, I just bought a licence of Malwarebytes Premium and downloaded the application. When I try to Activate Licence, I type my license key and click on "Activate License", and this error appears: Then I press OK and this second message appears: These messages also appear whenever I start Malwarebytes. I've reinstalled, used the cleanup tool, all to no avail. I really need to get this working. Thank you for your help. mb-check-results.zip
