  1. When I try to register my license key again (on my newly formatted device) it is not possible for me, since it shows me to be linked to another device (I have tried it both in the program and in my user account). So, my question is, how could I unlink and re-link it? NOTE: I bought the license on an unofficial page apparently.
  2. Hi, I have just tried re activating my Malwarebytes lifetime license but with no luck. A day or so ago I had to re install Windows 10 as I was unable to access Windows due to an error in the Windows registry. I was also then unable to de activate my lifetime license from this old Windows 10 installation as I was unable to access my old Windows. So when I tried to re activate my license in the new Malwarebytes installation, it states that "the usage level has exceeded the maximum installations allowed". It then had an option to 'Deactivate other devices', but when I clicked this, it went straight to the malwarebytes account website, where I made an account and again attempted to re activate the license key, but with the same problem now re occurring...? All I ask is if you could please add my license key to my account so that I can indeed register it via the My Account page, and also if you could "Deactivate my other devices" for me to continue to use my same lifetime license on my new Windows installation. And I can provide my license key and email address for account purposes at any time via a private message if need be. Many thanks and I will await your reply.
  3. So I had to reformat my laptop (again) due to the MBR being corrupted and Windows 10 not launching. After reinstalling Windows and MBAM, I went to find my license (which was newly repurchased just last month for the new year) in my email and attempt to reactivate. I was notified of the following: Selecting the only useful option takes me to the webpage where I can view all my previous licenses on the account. I see my current active one, currently using it's one and only seat and I select the [Deactivate All] key to deactivate the instance of MBAM that was assigned to my computer as it used to be. I see a momentary green pop-up indicating the action was complete which quickly disappears plus some spam about MBAM being available for Mac, but the license area seems to still indicate my license is seated. And when I attempt to activate the license again on the application, there is no change. I've tried a few different basic browser troubleshooting steps to no avail. I'm just trying to secure my laptop the way I always have, but the website doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me. Is it the website itself that is being the issue, or something I'm doing wrong? Help would be appreciated. Please and thanks.
  4. Hi, first of all sorry for my English. I am making an upgrade from one of my two PCs. The upgrade is to move Windows from an standard SSD to a new NVME. I have cloned the original disk to the new NVME but I forgot to deactivate my ID/LICENSE before doing it. Now, In my new NVME, everything is ok but malwarebytes tells me that my ID/LICENSE is already in use. After a few hours I have just remembered that I did no deactivate my ID/LICENSE in the the SSD. Fortunately, I have both disks, the old SSD and the NVME. I have force to boot from the old SSD and there, malwarebytes is activated, but when I click in the "deactivate my license" a pop-up appears, I click yes, but nothing happens (see attached file) I need help in order to deactivate my ID/LICENSE in order to re-activate it in my new NVME disk Thanks in advance.   5. i purchased a 3 pack of licenses on newegg and installed all 3 less than a month ago. i decided to upgrade one system from 7 to 10 last night and since the key code was already active, but not attached to an online account i can't revoke permission from the "old" computer. i think i have to file a ticket but i can't find the location to do so, but if theres something else i can do please let me know. thanks! :)
  6. Hey, The first message is unable to contact license server. Then I'm getting an MBAM404101 Error. "Installation_token Not Found. There is a problem with license key." Etc. I've attempted with two different license keys I have that have an open spot as I bought 2 devices previously. Uninstalled, reinstalled with no luck. Then went down the forum rabbit hole, abd went through everything with the Support Tool to no luck. Checked Hosts and found CoinHive, deleted it, restarted, etc. Did everything again, still nothing. Hi.. i purchased a one year license on october 2018, i formatted my PC and trying to re-use my old code/id but it says i need to deactivate my malwarebytes service on another device and when i click deactivate it asks me to log in, i've never made an acconut when i used this license so i don't know what to do..i've contacted support and i haven't received an email from them in a few days, any help please?

  9. I have a Premium License for three devices and would like to add one more, I have read another post that says email/ticket billing. I did that and they said too bad buy another License and they are not combined. Is that true there is no way to add to an existing key?

  11. Hello members and staff, One of my older PC has dual boot - windows 10 and windows 7 to run some legacy software. I have a 'multiple token' Malwarebytes license - same key can be used with a number of computers. Windows 10 has Malwarebytes installed and is using one token. If I install Malwarebytes on Windows 7 on that *same* PC with *same* NIC, will the install use a second token when entering the license key? or will Malwarebytes installer recognize this is a known computer already with an associated token?   12. I want to move from my installed app and license on my LG V20, with Oreo to another device but I don't want to disable the app, only deactivate the license. I plan to go back and forth and I don't want to re-install the app itself. I can deactivate the license on my desktop and move to my laptop and back again but can't find the deactivate option on my LG. I have 4 licenses and a lot of devices. TIA Phil
  13. Hi, I have a lifetime license for MBAM Premium. I have reinstalled my Windows, it is the same computer. Microsoft knows that, MBAM apparently doesn't. I have contacted support on June 30. No reply yet.

  15. Hi, i brought my license a long time ago, when the license lifetime was available, now lately i have this problem, see image below, say impossible to contact server license!
  16. I had ran a rootkit scan got 3 winzips. I removed these and after doing so malwarebytes has been having problems contacting the license server, it asks me to check my network settings. I could restore them but i have read their are no necessary rootkits for malwarebytes to run and this only happens on one of the two computers i have malwarebytes installed on.

  18. So I got two free keys given to me from Marcin Kleczynski of Malwarebytes over on Reddit. Because I got given a key I didnt have to sign up for an account. I reformatted my PC which I activated MBAM 3 Pro on with the key and forgot to deactivate it first now I cant use that key on my new installed windows 10. The normal process would be to sign into your account and deactivate the license from the list of your devices but because I got given the key and therefore donot have an acount how can I deactivate my license so I can use it on my new OS?

Hello, I just downloaded MB3 and clicked the button to purchase, created an account on the website and purchased a 1 year, 1 device license but the confirmation screen doesnt show me an activation/license code and I never got an email for the purchase. I got other emails when creating the account but nothing for purchasing. In addition, when I refresh my dashboard, it doesnt say I have any subscriptions. What happened? Did my money get taken?? I see the money withdrawn from my paypal account already from Avangate INC. FYI. I have no idea what to do here...

  23. Hello dear friends, Please I need some help. I just renewed my license. I did received an email with my IDs and asking me to activate license again. When I try to do it, teh "Activate License" in not working, I mean, when I write both my Id and license code, the button "Activate License" is not activated and therefore I am unable to activate my license again. I did uninstalled Malwerbytes, reinstaled it (with most recent download) and still not working. Please anybody can help me? Thank you. Antonio

Hello everyone, in the attempt of keeping this short - after my pc randomly crashed after remaining idle for about twenty minutes, upon reboot, my Malwarebytes wouldn't let me enable realtime protection anymore. Following the steps scattered across the forums, I used the cleaning tool provided elsewhere and rebooted my computer several times. Since then, I'm stuck with MBAM Free with the error of not being able to contact the license servers. Following other topics, I disabled my Windows Firewall while activating the license, no luck with that sadly. I've attached the check results as required. Regards, ~Niklas / baabaablackgoat EDIT: Apparently this is directly related to an update? About the crash I had: Firefox suddenly froze while having a twitch.tv tab open. It then reported that all my tabs have crashed. I wasn't able to open Task Manager or the Recovery Screen, or really any new program, including MBAM. I could not shut down my computer with the respective option, so I had to cut the power. mb-check-results.zip
  25. I had to do a fresh install of Malwarebytes on my PC today and now when I try to activate my license, it is grayed out. Wondering what to do to get my coverage back up and running. I only have a License Key, I do not have an ID to go along with it.
