  1. Our has business has a large number of Malwarebytes premium accounts. We have some computers that do not have internet access. How do we add the license key to those computers and how do we manually update them with new MB data, when its available? We have searched the forums and all info we have come across seems to require an internet connection. These computers will never be connected to internet. But files can be placed on them. We want to keep protection up to date.

  3. Where can I open a ticket to recover a 40-user license issued in 2010? Or is there a URL where I can deactivate all existing licenses so that I can re-install? I've lost a couple of those machines over 9 years but now it seems they've all been committed when I only have 3 machines left actively using that license ID and Key pair. Thanks.
  4. Hi, I just upgraded my license to 2 devices but never received a code. The existing code for my current device does not work when used on my second device (an android phone). If this does not work on android (which is weird since its included in the description) i want my money back.
  5. I am setting up a client's new computer - he is replacing his old one. He has a self-renewing license for MB-Premium that just renewed in April of 2019. The biggest problem is that the original eMail address that was used when the product was first installed is no longer valid - and the owner of the machine/account does not remember any details of setting up the account or any passwords. The old machine still works (limps along) and I have it with me. It seems like there used to be a way to move a MalwareBytes license without having to sing on to anything (I did it for another client a couple of years ago but that was a business account). Is there any way to capture files or reg entries that I can move to the new machine. Or, could I sign in somewhere on the new machine and have someone "perform activation magic" ??   6. I own several life time licenses for Malwarebytes. I replaced the hard drive on one of my PCs and reinstalled Malwarebytes. I received a message saying I needed to deactivate one of the devices using that license, so I logged in to manage my licenses. I am not able to access any of my licenses and it shows a message that says I am no longer the administrator for my licenses and to contact my administrator. I have contacted support and recieved replies from 3 different support people. I have supplied all requested information including the license keys for all of my licences and almost 3 months later support has not given me any assistance or even an explanation of why I am no longer the administrator of my licenses. Has anyone else experienced this issue with licenses and how were you able to get it resolved?
  7. Same thing happened to me after an update. System rebooted and the license was gone. Went to the website, deactivated, and then tried to reactivate. Said blacklisted. Even though my account said lifetime sub. Not sure what's going on.
  8. I turned on my PC about 30 minutes ago and a Malwarebytes update showed up. After the update I noticed it was asking if I want to start the Pro trail. (This is happened before where Malwarebytes made me reenter my License after an update, it was quite annoying but good thing I saved my info and it was painless.) But this time I got a message telling me my license key was blacklisted and I should contact Malwarebytes support. I bought several of these Lifetime License keys (I just looked it up) from Newegg back in 2013 during a sale. I have attached my proof of purchase from Newegg. Please help, thanks..
  9. I followed the link to upgrade to version three, on completion of installation my Malwarebytes has reverted to the free trial period. I tried to activate by manually inputting my ID and license key but got a message that "I have exceeded the maximum allowed number of installations allowed. There is a problem with your license key and we are unable to activate your license." I clicked on the button "Deactivate other devices" and I was diverted to the Malwarebytes website which had a message "OOPS something has gone wrong". I logged into my account to attempt to activate my licence from there but that also failed and my licence details on my account showed " number of devices activated 0/1 (none of one)" I have a lifetime licences for the product which I bought on 24 October 2013, this is the Malwarebytes invoice number date, I also have the documentation from Cleverbridge; Your cleverbridge reference number: 51158243, this was paid for with Paypal. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Malwarebytes but this does not help. I would welcome help from other forum users and also from Malwarebytes staff. Can you please help me to resolve this activation issue, the trial period left is now twelve days and I wish to have the activation completed before this "trial period" expires. Regards, ChrisJC
  10. Add me to this list. I purchased a 3-pack of MBAM lifetime licenses 5 or 6 years ago, and they were always honored whem MBAM changed to Malwarebytes 3. I also have a Lifetime licence for XP, granted when I was a beta tester for the original MBAM way back when. So I have 4 lifetime licences. After so many years, I do not have original receipts. When I was prompted on my Windows 7 Home system to upgrade to MB3 version 3.8.3 (for "free"), I accepted and installed. It appears I inadvertantly installed the "free" trial version, and have lost my lifetime licence. Attempts to enter my old lifetime licence and ID tell me I have exhausted my attempts. This is unacceptable to me. As a moderator in several security forums, I always promoted MBAM and MB3, based on my experiences. Honor your lifetime licence, Malwarebytes.
  11. Serves me right for upgrading. I just upgraded to MB 3 latest version (had 4 user license for a decade) and now I'm downgraded from Premium to Trial. WHY? Doesn't anyone test these things??? Same machine as the previous version. Shouldn't the upgrade use the existing key? And to add insult to injury I created a ticket and NOTHING other than "we'll get back to you". The instructions for deactivating license are not all that clear and it seems like I have to deactivate all of them??? And how can I be certain if I only have to deactivate mine, which one of the 4 it is? This is seriously poor support.
  12. Hi, today I logged up on my computer and I've received the message which said, that I'm not protected anymore to avoid ransomware, software, etc. The license ends up TODAY. I bought the key 3 months ago for a whole year. Someone has stolen my key and replaced it with the other, invalid one. How did it happened? My mail also got changed... Someone other is using the acc now. Of course I did write the mail to Support. I'm still shocked 🙄

When I try to register my license key again (on my newly formatted device) it is not possible for me, since it shows me to be linked to another device (I have tried it both in the program and in my user account). So, my question is, how could I unlink and re-link it? NOTE: I bought the license on an unofficial page apparently.
  14. Hi, I have just tried re activating my Malwarebytes lifetime license but with no luck. A day or so ago I had to re install Windows 10 as I was unable to access Windows due to an error in the Windows registry. I was also then unable to de activate my lifetime license from this old Windows 10 installation as I was unable to access my old Windows. So when I tried to re activate my license in the new Malwarebytes installation, it states that "the usage level has exceeded the maximum installations allowed". It then had an option to 'Deactivate other devices', but when I clicked this, it went straight to the malwarebytes account website, where I made an account and again attempted to re activate the license key, but with the same problem now re occurring...? All I ask is if you could please add my license key to my account so that I can indeed register it via the My Account page, and also if you could "Deactivate my other devices" for me to continue to use my same lifetime license on my new Windows installation. And I can provide my license key and email address for account purposes at any time via a private message if need be. Many thanks and I will await your reply.
  15. So I had to reformat my laptop (again) due to the MBR being corrupted and Windows 10 not launching. After reinstalling Windows and MBAM, I went to find my license (which was newly repurchased just last month for the new year) in my email and attempt to reactivate. I was notified of the following: Selecting the only useful option takes me to the webpage where I can view all my previous licenses on the account. I see my current active one, currently using it's one and only seat and I select the [Deactivate All] key to deactivate the instance of MBAM that was assigned to my computer as it used to be. I see a momentary green pop-up indicating the action was complete which quickly disappears plus some spam about MBAM being available for Mac, but the license area seems to still indicate my license is seated. And when I attempt to activate the license again on the application, there is no change. I've tried a few different basic browser troubleshooting steps to no avail. I'm just trying to secure my laptop the way I always have, but the website doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me. Is it the website itself that is being the issue, or something I'm doing wrong? Help would be appreciated. Please and thanks.
  16. Hi, first of all sorry for my English. I am making an upgrade from one of my two PCs. The upgrade is to move Windows from an standard SSD to a new NVME. I have cloned the original disk to the new NVME but I forgot to deactivate my ID/LICENSE before doing it. Now, In my new NVME, everything is ok but malwarebytes tells me that my ID/LICENSE is already in use. After a few hours I have just remembered that I did no deactivate my ID/LICENSE in the the SSD. Fortunately, I have both disks, the old SSD and the NVME. I have force to boot from the old SSD and there, malwarebytes is activated, but when I click in the "deactivate my license" a pop-up appears, I click yes, but nothing happens (see attached file) I need help in order to deactivate my ID/LICENSE in order to re-activate it in my new NVME disk Thanks in advance.   17. i purchased a 3 pack of licenses on newegg and installed all 3 less than a month ago. i decided to upgrade one system from 7 to 10 last night and since the key code was already active, but not attached to an online account i can't revoke permission from the "old" computer. i think i have to file a ticket but i can't find the location to do so, but if theres something else i can do please let me know. thanks! :)
  18. Hey, The first message is unable to contact license server. Then I'm getting an MBAM404101 Error. "Installation_token Not Found. There is a problem with license key." Etc. I've attempted with two different license keys I have that have an open spot as I bought 2 devices previously. Uninstalled, reinstalled with no luck. Then went down the forum rabbit hole, abd went through everything with the Support Tool to no luck. Checked Hosts and found CoinHive, deleted it, restarted, etc. Did everything again, still nothing. Hi.. i purchased a one year license on october 2018, i formatted my PC and trying to re-use my old code/id but it says i need to deactivate my malwarebytes service on another device and when i click deactivate it asks me to log in, i've never made an acconut when i used this license so i don't know what to do..i've contacted support and i haven't received an email from them in a few days, any help please?

Things I have already tested Restarted like thousands of time Safe mode with networking VPN Different network I cannot seem to connect to keystone.mwbsys.com.Says connection not established Allowed the app through windows firewall.   21. I have a Premium License for three devices and would like to add one more, I have read another post that says email/ticket billing. I did that and they said too bad buy another License and they are not combined. Is that true there is no way to add to an existing key?

  23. Hello members and staff, One of my older PC has dual boot - windows 10 and windows 7 to run some legacy software. I have a 'multiple token' Malwarebytes license - same key can be used with a number of computers. Windows 10 has Malwarebytes installed and is using one token. If I install Malwarebytes on Windows 7 on that *same* PC with *same* NIC, will the install use a second token when entering the license key? or will Malwarebytes installer recognize this is a known computer already with an associated token?   24. I want to move from my installed app and license on my LG V20, with Oreo to another device but I don't want to disable the app, only deactivate the license. I plan to go back and forth and I don't want to re-install the app itself. I can deactivate the license on my desktop and move to my laptop and back again but can't find the deactivate option on my LG. I have 4 licenses and a lot of devices. TIA Phil
  25. Hi, I have a lifetime license for MBAM Premium. I have reinstalled my Windows, it is the same computer. Microsoft knows that, MBAM apparently doesn't. I have contacted support on June 30. No reply yet.
