if anyone has a link to the latest removal tool... (yes, i am looking around for it now...) -
symptoms: --no icon in tray when booting up --if i browse to file location and run tray icon, it appears below, but cant start a scan (start scan grayed out) --i try to uninstall from control, panel--it fails --i try to use MWB removal tool (older) it fails --i try ro reinstall or install home version ( to try and get a good scan thru another method) it says "already running a business version of malwarebytes" note that the user brought it in saying network was suuuppper slow (it is), so i am trying to start with a good scan to make sure its not infected. it does get internet thru wireless and cellular but its currently pulling only .5 meg for speed on either. i will try the latest removal tool and go from there. but any other help would be great! thx all!

maybe this helps--- on the "official" filezilla site, they have this nice, shiny download button...(see pic) that seems to download some virus/bs laden version that MWB flags as malware... ...instead, click "other download options" below it and get THAT version...which appears "clean"

So we got out of the dark ages and took off admin right for users on all of our computers. Short story long, we have 50 machines in "the field" that we have MWB premium on. So right after we take their rights away (a good thing), MWB comes out with this new version. So they are getting pop ups to install it...and now cant due to the rights being set to "user". Any way around this? I am fine letting the folks keep MWB up to date and updating it themselves. yes, we need remote support, etc... but we aint gots it right now...

getting bigly slowdowns on our cloud client installs we are testing.... -
getting the same on our cloud clients. We are testing it, and the folks that are using cloud (over regular installed enpoint) get sloooooow computers if they don't restart daily. including taking forever to reboot. I just updated mine to latest cloud version, and so far so good.

I am looking forward to the cloud version--I have a group of laptops that are not on our network (ever), that I will put this cloud version on-- so we can manage MWB on them easily! -

We have had good luck with it here at work---about 1800 machines. I think it has helped keep the cooties away. We are now going to Cloud version...will see how that goes.
