Malwarebytes suddenly blocking Drivermax paid program?

Hi,

 

Why is Malwarebytes 4.1 lifetime suddenly taking Drivermax out and blocking it from re-downloading, it's NOT a PUP, I've been using it for years to keep my Drivers updated?

Weird it MUST be me, are you blocking Drivermax for some good reason or not, you must know, why do you need things from me?  Go to Drivermax.com and download the program, you will see the block!

drivermax.exe downloaded just fine from their website one minute ago.

Not blocked for me either. However, why would you not obtain a driver from the Manufacturer? I've been doing computer support now for almost 30 years and have built hundreds of computers and fixed thousands and have never had to go to a 3rd party site for a driver.

Okay, there you go. I did not perform a scan, but obviously based on our detection and VirusTotal it would seem to be a valid detection.

Is this an indication that you believe drivermax to be a virus (between malwaybytes and Virus total).  I'm fine with that, as long as I can make an exception.  Currently - I tried over and over, and malwarebytes refuses to let me apply the exception.  Any help?
