gonzo's post in Please remove our websites from Malwarebytes Browser Guard trojan block was marked as the answer
As @1PW mentioned, there are significant negatives listed on VirusTotal right now that you should take care of. At the same time, I had our researchers take a look and they found no current reason for the reputation block that is now present other than past history that has been resolved. The site has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. Also, please don't let that get in the way of finishing the cleanup that @1PW mentioned. That could come back to bite in the future.

gonzo's post in What can we do to prevent our domain from being blacklisted? was marked as the answer
I have added mkswft.com to two different whitelists to prevent this from happening again in the future. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect.

After determining what the full name of the site in question was, Research was able to determine that the infection(s) that were present have been removed. The block on the site has been removed. Please allow 2-4 hours for changes to take effect.

gonzo's post in Not working on Facebook Marketplace was marked as the answer
Facebook is very aggressive with their ads and their methods to avoid blocking. It is a cat and mouse game with their ads and products such as ours. If they're coming back, we'll take care of it and they'll change something and so will we. I assume you see the pattern. Give us a release or two and it will likely be taken care of.

gonzo's post in Norton removed MBG indexeddb.blob\2\00\5a was marked as the answer
That file is a Browser Guard cache file. It is not dangerous and is most definitely a Norton false positive. If you create an exclusion in Norton for the file location you mentioned, Norton should leave it alone in the future.

gonzo's post in BG files being detected as virus by other AV. False positive? was marked as the answer
That file is a Browser Guard cache file. It is not dangerous and is most definitely a Norton false positive. Go ahead and reinstall Browser Guard. You may wish to add an exclusion in Norton for the location you mentioned so the silliness stops.

gonzo's post in An error occurred - please try again was marked as the answer
There is something going on. I have just duplicated the error on two different computers using three different browsers on each.
ADDITION: After speaking with developer, this is a short-term known issue due to resource usage on a server, and vacation for the person who can fix it. It should be handled in early August. AT THE SAME TIME, you will get database updates depending on server load. The program checks every 15-20 minutes, so if it fails this time, it likely will not next time. There are not voluminous updates each time, so it is an inconvenience at best.

gonzo's post in Browser guard is blocking our website was marked as the answer
It has been unblocked, but you should probably tone down the aggressiveness of your use of notifications. We block those because they are a common behavior pattern of malware designed to scare users into acting before thinking. Now that browser vendors are becoming more proactive in protecting users, they will likely start to block this behavior themselves. When that happens, we will not be able to fix it.....that is up to the people who write the code and run the websites.

gonzo's post in Malwarebytes Browser Guard error was marked as the answer
If there is a connectivity problem with the database server in the cloud, you could get an error. Same if a database download gets corrupted. Same also if integration of the database with your existing database gets munged. The good thing is that it is no longer happening.

gonzo's post in Advanced Profanity Filter Bookmarklet downloading false positive was marked as the answer
Congratulations! You found something we don't have a good answer for...yet. Because there is no URL associated with this text string, there is nothing we can work with. The developer has created a defect so that we can come up with a proper solution. In the meantime, what I would suggest is:
In Browser Guard settings, turn off all protection settings temporarily Download the Bookmarklet file as you tried to do earlier and process it as it requires Turn on Browser Guard's protection settings again This will allow you to do what you need to do with only a brief lack of coverage with Browser Guard.

gonzo's post in website blocked inappropriately was marked as the answer
The secure URL you have referred to is either incorrect or does not have a valid certificate to allow that communication to occur. Additionally, attempts to go to widex.pro redirect to widexpro.com. I cannot say authoritatively that is correct behavior, so we need more from you in order to know how to proceed,

gonzo's post in False positive while using browser guard - *.goldcore.com was marked as the answer
This was fixed earlier this morning (which you are likely already aware of). I forgot to address it here. I apologize for that. I just confirmed the site is accessible. The block affected all subdomains on the goldcore.com domain, so they should all be working properly.

gonzo's post in Legit websites blocked was marked as the answer
I have been investigating and lobbying for removal of the blocks. It is sometimes a a slow process. If you can provide me a list of the sites via private message, I will work with the team to analyze the blocks and clear those that can be cleared. There are multiple types of blocks, so a block may affect many sites or just one. We have to determine that still.

gonzo's post in Please remove our website from scam notifications alert was marked as the answer
The site has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect.
While you are using notifications for all the right reasons, the fact that you are triggering the block is evidence that you are being very aggressive with your interactions with the browser (the notifications). This is also a favorite behavior of some types of malware (I am NOT accusing you of that). At some point, browser vendors will begin enforcing blocks as we are now. At that point, you will be forced to be less aggressive. Telling you now so that you have an opportunity to begin making changes on your own schedule.

The databases which drive Browser Guard are the same regardless of the browser being used, so I allowed your thread to remain here.
