  1. Our teacher asked us what was our favorite animal and I said "fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, everyone else in the class laughed. My parents told me to always be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too. Then he told me not to do it again. The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. told her it was chicken. She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children. So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal's office again. He laughed, and told me not to do it again. I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most. I told her, "Colonel Sanders". Guess where I am now...

  5. Hello hani, Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process: We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums. Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. Please note that it may take 48 hours or more for you to receive a response in the malware removal forum, as it is often busy at times. Please do not reply to your own post asking for help unless its been more than 48 hours since you originally posted, as this can make it appear as though you are being helped and take longer for you to get help. If you are unable to do all or any of the steps in the link to the directions above, just post your problem into the forum I gave you a link to anyway and someone will be able to assist you. Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org If you are a corporate customer please send an email to corporate-support@malwarebytes.org. (NOTE: An order number is required for corporate support.) Also, when replying, please use the "ADD REPLY" button or erase what the person you are replying to said, as this makes the forum easier to read. After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post. Thank you
  6. Hi, and Welcome to Malwarebytes! Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process: As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have. Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here. After posting your new post, make sure under options, you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post. One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available. Please refrain from making any further changes to your computer (Install/Uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc...) unless advised by a malware removal helper. Doing so can result in system changes which may hinder the attempts by a helper to clean your machine. NOTE: Please DO NOT post back to (bump) your topic within the first 48 hours. Replying to your own posts changes the post count and helpers are looking for topics with zero replies. If you reply to your own post helpers may think that you're already being helped and thus overlook your post. If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply to the topic, asking for help again. Or You may send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance. Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org or here. Please be patient, someone will assist you as soon as it is possible.
  7. Glad to hear its all working great now.... Could be a typo on your part but you mentioned this below: Are you runing Avast or AVG or both? I hope it is only one Antivirus, having more than one running actively will cause problems.
  8. George Bush, Queen Elizabeth, and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell. While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for. The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth. Putin asks to call Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check. Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes. When she is finished the devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars, so she writes him a check. Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours. When he is finished the devil informs him that the cost is $5.00. When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the devil why Bush got to call the USA so cheaply. The devil smiles and replies: "Since Obama took over, the country has gone to hell, so it's a local call."

  15. Hi, and Welcome to Malwarebytes! It is more than likely the infection that is causing it to close before it lets you perform the cleaning. 16. I remember a long time ago I used to use a program that had a sound like that, it was for an error of some sort, I think it was an ftp program of some sort. If you might still be infected and there is an ftp program running in the background and erroring out? You said this computer was infected before, you might want to have the experts look at it. 17. Just curious are you using Pro version of Malwarebytes, and if so, are you getting IP Block messages in the system tray?
  18. Yes I see it too, and I am using IE 8 at the moment.
  19. go through all the sounds in the control panel as stated above, and find the sound that is making that sound from the list in section 4, That sound was enabled for something that your computer is doing so its acknowledging that it did it by playing the sound. Find it from the list and change it.
  20. Hi, and Welcome to Malwarebytes! The free version would more than likely get rid of the rootkit you have. Also weather you have the free version of the paid version, you can get free tech support here on the forum. Of course having the Pro version would probably have prevented you from getting infected in the first place. Here are a couple of download locations for you to get the latest version which is version 1.46. Direct Download FROM HERE Or you can use THIS LINK from cnet download should work okay until or unless they change it. ________________________________________________________________________________ If you want to get help getting rid of the malware from the experts follow these instructions.
