  1. OIC, you can also right click on the MBAM icon in the system tray and then click on Check for updates. If you have the full version you can just schedule the automatic updates to happen as frequently as you like. For information on using the new scheduler go RIGHT HERE

  8. Click on Removed Selected, reboot computer, and run another scan to make sure you are clean. Let us know what you find.

  11. You can download and install Malwarebytes AntiMalware software form our main site LOCATED HERE Depending on your version of Antivirus software, some of them have malware protection, but its best to have both your antivirus and Malwarebytes.

  13. well sounds like your norton scan removed the infection for you. To be sure, update your MBAM and run a quick scan and see if the computer comes back clean. Hello DFringe, Please try the following to see if it helps: Windows XP: Click on Start and select Control Panel Open Add/Remove Programs Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Restart your computer very important Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates. Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask me and I'll explain how to do it.   15. A little more info please, like when do you see it pop up? What software is telling you if its an infection? Have you updated and ran a quick scan with Malwarebytes?

  21. I think what he means is that if you go to that site to download the dis-infector they are recommending Malwarebytes Antimalware with Flash scan as the recommended download.....
