  1. It could be that the License has been activated too many times, this is why you would have to contact support and they can check it and reset the activation count.
  2. Hello and Welcome! Please make sure you are putting the info in the correct boxes to activate your product. Are you getting a specific error when trying to activate? If you copy and paste your ID and KEY make sure there are no leading spaces in front or behind the ID and KEY. If that does not work you will need to contact support.   4. Hello and Welcome! More than likely the reason you are getting those is because your computer has already downloaded the a new version and is waiting for you to install it. If you do not want to install/upgrade you need to delete the installer that got downloaded. What version are you on now? If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply: NOTE: The tools and the information obtained is safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next You will be presented with a page stating, "Welcome to the Malwarebytes Support Tool!" Click the Advanced Options link Click the Gather Logs button A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed to gather troubleshooting information from your computer Upon completion, click OK A file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop Please attach the file in your next reply. A security bug allowed third-party developers to access Google+ user profile data since 2015 until Google discovered and patched it in March, but decided not to inform the world. When a user gave permission to an app to access their public profile data, the bug also let those developers pull their and their friends’ non-public profile fields. Indeed, 496,951 users’ full names, email addresses, birth dates, gender, profile photos, places lived, occupation and relationship status were potentially exposed, though Google says it has no evidence the data was misused by the 438 apps that could have had access. The company decided against informing the public because it would lead to “us coming into the spotlight alongside or even instead of Facebook despite having stayed under the radar throughout the Cambridge Analytica scandal,” according to an internal memo. Now Google+, which was already a ghost town largely abandoned or never inhabited by users, has become a massive liability for the company. Hello and Welcome Please do the following and it should correct the issue: Run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started) Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here Please let us know how it goes and if the issue persists or if any additional issues occur.   7. Hello and Welcome! I highly doubt that the update you installed was fake or malicious. There have been occasions during the update process where one looses its activation (if I recall correctly). You can always download the latest version from the main site if your concerned about the update messages. If you would like to un-install and then install the latest version you can use there support tool to do that. Please do the following and it will remove your current version and install the latest one: Run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started) Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here Please let us know how it goes and if the issue persists or if any additional issues occur.   9. You mention that its a windows 7 laptop, however the logs you provided state that this is a Windows 10 Pro computer? That being said, using the same tool, lets see if a clean re-install solves your issues. Please download the Malwarebytes Support Tool and use it to do a Clean Removal and reinstall of Malwarebytes Download Malwarebytes Support Tool Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program You may be prompted by the User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer.   11. Just to follow up, I have updated a laptop to 1809 version of windows and my MB3 did not deactivate...

  14. Hello and Welcome back... Please provide the requested logs from the BOT above... along with the answer to the question below. Did you update via Windows Updates, USB Flash Drive, Media Creation tool or other way? I created a USB Bootable Media using the Media Creation Tool and will be update a computer here shortly to test out myself and see if I get the same result as you encountered.

  18. After the 14 day trial is over, the Premium version will convert to the Free version. You will no longer have active protections, however you can still perform manual scans and remove any malware that Malwarebytes finds. There will always be a Free version available.
  19. Just a thought.... on both computers that your trying to share/connect to... do the accounts have passwords on the accounts? If they have a blank password it will not let you connect to each share.

  21. It should have retained your license info during the upgrade. You can always try installing one more time from the main website to see if it helps.
