google.com websites blocked by malwarebytes

It looks like there are about 10 other threads talking about the same thing.

In one of them, Malwarebytes support mentioned they are working on the issue. Looks like its a global issue with malwarebytes and any google domain and their subdomains. I had to turn mine off for now as we can't possibly add every single sub-domain of google to the allow list.

I just got an update. No issues however I did off/on web protection. That was pretty smart.

I unfortunately don't have that luxury since I am managing a production environment, so I had to disabled all the protections via policy mgmt in settings. 

Fortunately MWB isn't my sole line of defense / EDR...

Same here. Any website that serves Google ads or tracking is getting flagged as malware. Can't view Google News or get to Gmail. It's nonsensical that this is happening again.

The latest protection update v1.0.60360 contains the fix for this issue.

All our computers are popping up with different variations of Google being flagged.  Sometimes we try to open a tab and it won't connect to the internet.  Our outside IT gent said it might be false positives.  We've updated all Malwarebytes and our Corporate Trend Micro and still have pop ups.

Mine seems to have been fixed after an application update

 

open MB -> Settings wheel -> check for updates

Sorry, but I think Malwarebytes may very well have lost half of its user base today. I use Google Cloud exclusively for our business operations, and this completely took everything offline. Will start looking for another service ASAP. Hopefully, you will be offering refunds.

When you first open Malwarebytes to the right is the Real Time Protection, If you disable "web protection" then close google thats how I got back onto the web. 

Otherwise if that doesnt work ill see if there is anything else I can find that could work.

I am having this Problem as well. It occurs in every browser. I get the warning as soon as i open a browser.
