[ RESOLVED ] MalwareBytes blocking anything related to Google (RTP detection)

There seems to be an update out now that fixes the issue. I right clicked on the Malwarebytes and started a scan. It updated and it is not blocking google.com anymore.

I saw a thread that it happened back in January 2018. They ended up releasing a new update that corrected the issue.

+1, if you do a quick scan and let the threat database update, this problem appears to be solved. Thanks for the tip.

I was on the internet all morning using Chrome so why didn't I have this issue?  Does this mean my MBAM isn't working properly?

Just downloaded the newest update just released for Malwarebytes after checking manually for an update in the app, and that seems to have fixed the issue

I just updated malwarebytes. If you go into settings there is an option to check for updates. I did that and it is now updating. I am not having the problem any more. Good luck.

I just did the update and turned Web Protection back on....so far...NO WARNINGS.........keeping fingers crossed!
