  1. In the mean time, you can try this to see it fix your problems. Please reset your hosts file back to default. Instructions on resetting your HOSTS file can be found in this Microsoft support article. Please let us know if the issue is resolved or not. Thanks!
  2. It is normal i guess, i did see it happen on many computers from me and customers. Right after a start and you press the update button, it says all is okay. But if you wait a five minutes or so after a boot, it always find updates if any. That is, you have a live internet connection.
  3. You are using two AV at the same time, it was NEVER a good idea to have two active at the same time! It is prone to errors, blue screens, strange errors or faults, slow computer with resources used up. Both do things the same time, and thus fight each other constantly for rights. Ending up in an computer that does not respond anymore. Both AV also frequently update the programs, with is making it compatible extremely difficult. Malwarebytes works the best windows defender, this is the ideal combo and you do not need anything more!
  4. Can u try this please? Please reset your hosts file back to default. Instructions on resetting your HOSTS file can be found in this Microsoft support article. Please let us know if the issue is resolved or not. Thanks!
  5. Sometimes disabling it is not enough, you should try to de-install norton antivirus and try again. You can always install it easily afterwards, by the way having two antivirus products installed was never a good idea! It creates only a lot of problems, slow computer, crashes and so on... In my opinion Malwarebytes with Windows Defender are the best combination, and you never have any problems anymore.
  6. Malwarebytes never erases itself, that is very strange. When your license is not good anymore it just switches to trial version... And it also will let you know that's something not right. So not sure what is going on with your system.
  7. If all okay even after long time stress testing, then it is possible like you told that Fortnite itself is the cause.
  8. FurMark is the best known for this. A very extensive stress test for your video-card and processor. A faulty system will be revealed with this.
  9. It is possible that fortnight is casing this, but i suspect it is your computer having problems. You have the latest videodriver installed, there is enough cooling, is your power supply still in good condition? Are the ventilators for cooling not full of dust?
  10. A little respect nowadays due to the pandemic for hard working people, is on it's place now. Thank you.
  11. There are also programs that after a reboot sets your PC back to the default state, as it was fresh installed. You can do what you want freely, after a reboot it reverts back to the default. The default state can be changed only if you allow it. So why make it difficult when you can do this the easy way?
  12. Then your changes make your system unreliable... i never had to restore my system in more then 10 years. If you want to experiment with various settings, why you are not setting up a virtual machine? This way you can leave your system alone without restoring if you do something wrong.
  13. I also play frequent games om my computer with Malwarebytes installed. I never have encountered problems while gaming. A machine rebooting while playing games has some other problems for sure and can be hardware related.
  14. Support can fix this for you, no complaining or to be angry is needed. It is for your own security they are doing this, you should be happy they want to protect your account better.
  15. A refund after seven years...This must be a joke! You will not find anyone in the world that refund you after seven years. And personally i find the support from Malwarebytes good and friendly people, they always do what they can. Since the corona they have too many work to do, they are not robots waiting your call or mail. Give them some time please, they surely will not forget you.
  16. Yes they clearly worked on this, all my systems and clients also just takes 3 seconds to open Malwarebytes! Thanks To support and Staff for all hard work they are doing on daily basis for us!😀
  17. @exile360 Hi, sorry for late reaction. Today i had it again, and i am sure it was not for VPN. It clearly say that i could try Premium trial from MWB. I just click NO and then everything is normal again, no problems and i am Premium user with lifetime license. Some screenshots;
  18. No idea what is wrong again with MWB, i have a lifetime license and today it told me i could try the free trial... I clicked no, but my malwarebytes is still Premium lifetime... Everything okay but i say i can try the free Premium trial.
  19. No problem really for me, i have other programs that also take some time to show up. As long MWB is working and doing it's job, it does not bother me.🙂
  20. Just tested in Windows 7, 8, 8.1 it takes exactly 6 seconds to show up in the desktop. With 4, 8 or 16GB memory makes no difference.
  21. Strange behavior, in my case it takes 6 seconds for MWB to show up. I don't believe it has anything to with how much memory you have.
  22. Well anyway good luck to you, here it's bedtime! Good weekend all and Stay Safe! 🤐
  23. Now i type this on my Tower PC at home, i also like to play a good game every now and then. After work or in the weekend to Relax a little. And with Covid, it only got worse... 😃
  24. I also have a laptop i use when i go around to customers, and yes as Phortos say then you better of with a business laptop. I use an HP Elitebook for my work. @ghostiehime There are shops where you can buy an used Business laptop in good condition, for a very very small price! With an i5 and 8 or 16GB memory.
