  1. Nothing is going on, your old version off MWB have had long time ago already the stamp EOL! You should be happy that you still could have for so long updates for it. No other AV on the market still supports Windows XP, so why complain here if all others do the same thing? You ask support for something that is abandoned already, both MWB and Windows. Upgrade and go on with your life. I agree, the main reason is that cracks still work for it to stay Premium. You can't renew your subscription anymore now, so they have to use a crack for it.
  2. Everything okay here, all on Malwarebytes default's. Battle net works and updates okay.
  3. Great to hear, i will just wait here until the update comes auto installed to be sure, i already warned all of my customer's to not worry because it all seems changed.
  4. To make things even more confusing, my Malwarebytes has updated to 4.6.9.314, with no updates about what has changed. Not even in the Beta section.
  5. To add more, This forum even helps people that does not have Malwarebytes installed or know it. Every day this forum is helping other's with their problems, hundreds a day even.👍 There are many forums or help-desk out there that can take an example of this. So saying that support here is useless is an useless answer!
  6. Malwarebytes just has excellent support! I have been helped in a couple days, and very very friendly! I wish all support was like this! They help EVERYONE! 😀
  7. There was a beta already before new year ready, but @tetonbob confirmed the version is out now. See this thread for more info;
  8. Thanks bob, i can confirm everything checks out! Thanks to the great team behind Malwarebytes, i wish them all a happy and healthy new year! And i also wish Malwarebytes itself a good and happy year.
  9. It's there as option, you can turn it on if you feel safer with that, no harm in doing so. But as mentioned, hacker's are not interested in single Home users anyway...
  10. Yes the windows assigned default port, the other ports, you don't have to worry about that, they are not interested in you anyway. And malwarebytes will show it also if something suspicious is going on, on your PC. It also blocks by default external connections that try to break-in, you have malwarebytes browser guard for that. Malwarebytes will block by default external computers to try to disable your system. And also your windows firewall is still there, for a home user this is more then enough. As said malwarebytes constantly keeps an eye, and if it see some suspicious going on it will alarm you.
  11. And as Antivirus, Malwarebytes and Windows Defender works good together, the best security with only this two together is more then enough!
  12. No not yet any updates available, even beta stays the same as before, nothing changed at moment. I don't think you can expect any update until after new year for sure.
  13. It also interferes when you open a command prompt, it takes also some seconds before it open up and see the text. It also slows down any typed in commands. Wow, this 4.6.7 version is a very bad update! Lucky i had version 4.6.6 still available here. This one works good. Another user did make an topic about this.
  14. Warning to other users, don't upgrade yet to this new version, there are too many bugs in it. It interferes with the command prompt and Winrar, making delays in startup for many seconds waiting time. Freezes edge browser in some cases also, wait for a fix and go back to version 4.6.6. Also disabling Exploit protection could help, but it's better to install an older version whilst exploit protection stays on.
  15. So i am sure more users will have a problem with this, on all of my pc and some clients they all have the same problem after the latest update from Malwarebytes. When you open for example a big ISO file that Winrar also can open up, it literally can take up to 15 seconds before the ISO file is opened. I installed the older version again from MWB, and wait for a fix in this. Better option than disable exploit protection.
  16. Yup same here, if you disable Exploit protection, Winrar starts up immediately again. Enabled there is a small delay, but for me it does not bother me. But when you open a big RAR file from about 750MB, it takes many seconds before it opens the RAR file, it you disable Exploit protection, it works fast again. Seems that Malwarebytes is interfering with Winrar in some way.
  17. Malwarebytes version 4.6.7 out now, just click Check for updates button! Everything works good with 2 screen setup. No comment yet other then Minor Bug Fixes.
  18. If it would be so easy to shut down an antivirus, then what use has it if an malware or virus just can shut it down??? For some people it's never good... Just Malwarebytes trying to protect itself, if it would no do this then you maybe also would want your money back, because you can shut it down so easy?
  19. On my NVIDIA box i can't install a blocker, so when i see an add i stop and start the video fast until the ads are away... It also happens again in the middle of the video, then i stop and start, fast forward to the same scene... I DO NOT LOOK to ADS!!!! But on all my PC... Life is good! What a relieve without ads.
  20. And don't want to be followed anywhere by google! So also for privacy reasons. I really hate ADS period! If i can't block it, i don't want even to see this video anymore. There is enough commercial ads anywhere in our life, enough is enough.
  21. These are the settings in NoScript for youtube.
  22. Well sorry, i really not making this up, but i see now 6 video's... Nothing happened. Maybe it's not activated yet in Belgium, i dunno. But i go on further looking video's now, who knows. Or maybe it's just uBlock doing it's job.
