  1. Hi Pedro This is Windows 10 Pro, not Home PS for some reason I am no longer getting email notifications from the forums
  2. After a recent Windows 10 update I started getting the old issue back again. Uninstalling/reinstalling MBAE sorted it out. Not good that this keeps happening.
  3. Successfully installed over the top on my Windows 10 x 32 build 10565
  4. Not observed on my XP, but I don't have an AV installed.
  5. Some more info on these crashes that might be relevant... And as you said, the problem still occurs with 1043 on Windows 10 x 64 RTM and Windows 10 x 32 Insider Preview 10565. I now initiate the crash as follows: Stop MBAE protectionRapidly start Photostudio6 (not protected by MBAE), Excel, Word, Chrome, Firefox, IE. (These all have shortcuts on the task bar to make it easier)While they are starting up, quickly Start MBAE protection. Observations: If I do the above after a Restart (not shutdown/power up), the first time I try it all programs start OK (but of course they are slower to start up). But if I close all the programs and repeat the above, the failure reliably occurs, and will keep occurring. Why does the failure not occur the first time they are started? This might simply be because they are starting up more slowly, or it might suggest that the issue occurs when a cached file is accessed. I have had the error occur on Photostudio 6, which is not protected by MBAE, so I would assume that it could fail on any suite of programs. It is not possible to predict which program (of those started) will fail I have occasionally seen two of them fail. I have not yet seen Chrome fail, but all the others have.
  6. I'll be around after 4pm AEST
  7. Not on my Windows 7 - still get the error
  8. Unfortunately 1040 doesn't fix either the Windows 7/XP FP, or the Windows 10 issues
  9. 1.08.1.1040 still has the FP problem with IE in Windows 7 and XP
  10. Just tried 1.08.1.1040. Same issue occurs. I can get it fairly reliably: Stop MBAE start Word, Chrome, Firefox, IE immediately start MBAE IE, Firefox or Word fails - not possible to predict which one.
  11. Is that stored in the same folder as ProcDump.exe? if so no dumps are there
  12. I was running CMD elevated (right click on start > Command prompt (Admin)
  13. I get the following when I try this using an elevated CMD. (Also, I can get the crash with Word, by the way) Copyright © 2009-2014 Mark Russinovich Sysinternals - www.sysinternals.com With contributions from Andrew Richards No process matching the specified name can be found. 14. Dumps PM'd I can also bring this fault up (but so far only for Firefox) on my old desktop running Windows 10 x 32 build 10565
  15. And I just got the same failure with Firefox but IE opened OK. This time I had that RAR config file installed and Process explorer running. Not sure what to right click on in Process Explorer as firefox.exe isn't there Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 21/10/2015 9:45:00 AM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: JohnMargAcer-PC Description: Faulting application name: firefox.exe, version: 41.0.1.5750, time stamp: 0x560b22a1 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.10240.16430, time stamp: 0x55c599e1 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0003fa65 Faulting process id: 0x24d8 Faulting application start time: 0x01d10b88e856ecaf Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: 4803e500-fcef-4467-9ca5-48beff9246a5 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2015-10-20T22:45:00.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>114301</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>JohnMargAcer-PC</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>firefox.exe</Data> <Data>41.0.1.5750</Data> <Data>560b22a1</Data> <Data>ntdll.dll</Data> <Data>10.0.10240.16430</Data> <Data>55c599e1</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>0003fa65</Data> <Data>24d8</Data> <Data>01d10b88e856ecaf</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe</Data> <Data>C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll</Data> <Data>4803e500-fcef-4467-9ca5-48beff9246a5</Data> <Data> </Data> <Data> </Data> </EventData> </Event>

  17. I don't get a crash with CMD but I do if I do the same test with a slow load of Internet Explorer, IE fails 1- Stop MBAE protection from the GUI 2- Start Firefox 3. Start IE (while FF is starting) 4- Start MBAE protection from the GUI IE fails I don't know where the crash dumps are located
  18. I am now getting this same error on Windows 7 x 64 with 1.08.1.1039 when attempting to upload a photo to a forum or Facebook when browsing to Desktop.

  20. Sorry, I should have added ... but it still fails if I navigate to the Desktop. I can reproduce it easily. All I have to do is Attach a file to a reply and when the browse windows opens navigate to Desktop and the MBAE block occurs. (But it doesn't fail for other locations I tried, only fails on Desktop)
  21. Interesting. I did the following: Turn off MBAE Attach an image in a forum response from a different directory (downloads), so resetting the Attach browse directory. Close IE Start MBAE Open IE and repeat the Attach image operation, it works with no alert from MBAE
  22. No, they are in the Downloads folder
  23. c:\documents and settings\john\desktop\Clipboard02.jpg The error occurs before the browser displays the directory, but I turned off MBAE and tried it - it shows Desktop.
  24. Ahhh. It actually happens when I try to attach an image, ie when I click Browse. I originally thought it was the paste because I had just done that prior to adding an image. Yes it is repro.
  25. Thanks. ky331. I usually use Firefox, I was just updating Flash player in IE
