Yes, for these type of fixes that are automatic from the cloud. But we will be introducing whole new BETA updates that incorporate local changes. For these you will get a prompt to update when they are live.

To ensue there is no conflicts between us and all of these other programs (regardless of their functionality) it would be best to disable all the list protection applications. I am only asking you to disable these during the install of the application, in which you can turn around and enable right away if it does work. With the BETA being a brand new application, some of these applications may be stopping it from running and installing correctly. If you would prefer to do this Offline, that is also fine. Just remember that after the install you will then need to turn on your internet, and reboot the machine so that ARW can activate.

Compatability with other Anti-Ransomware Programs
Decrypterfixer replied to ky331's topic in Anti-Ransomware Beta
Thanks for the feedback. Its nice to know that MBARW hasn't really conflicted with your other products. As for CryptoMonitor, you are correct. MBARW has everything and so much more than CM had, so if using the Beta i would recommend removing CryptoMonitor. -
McAfee Detection & crash & cant restore
Decrypterfixer replied to PhilWray's topic in Anti-Ransomware Beta
If you are having issues Restoring files please try the following: - Reboot the machine - If MBARW starts running, please exit it from the tray icon - Start MBARW as ADMINISTRATOR - Disable protection in MBARW - Attempt to restore file - If this does not work, please check to see if the file its trying to restore doesn't already exist somehow If you have experienced this issue at all, even if the above fixed, it would be great to get logs to see why this happened. To upload logs please go to "%ProgramData%/Malwarebytes/" and zip up that whole folder with all sub folders in it. Thank you! The false positive from the OP should now be fixed.
