  1. Yeah, it's a System Restore issue. We now have more safeguards in place as well as messaging when it fails. JRT is working fine. We have a fix in place and we started QA testing this evening. Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.222 is now included in our testing Assuming this goes well, we're targeting a new build to be deployed on Monday (10/3).
  2. We've updated our Terms of Use, Guidelines, and Privacy Policy. As you'll read, our Terms of Use and Guidelines are identical. We did this to streamline them and to help avoid confusion. Enjoy! 3. Sorry for the late note back on this. We have pinpointed the issue and it's related to the System Restore API and it simply not working as it should be in both Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.105 and .187. We are compiling a fix for this and hope to start testing it in-depth tomorrow. Other than sometimes not creating a restore point in Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.105 and .187, JRT is working just fine. If you want or need a restore point created before using JRT, the workaround is still manually creating a restore point before using JRT.
  4. @Gt-truth - we do not have plans to update the UI of MBAR. Right now the technology in MBAR 1.09.3.1001 and MBAM 2.2.1 are at parity. Unless you have a specific need to run just our anti-rootkit technology, we recommend you use MBAM.
  5. We're getting closer to a solve but haven't locked the fix yet. More to come in the morning... A workaround is for you to create your own restore point and then use JRT.
  6. We think we've tracked this down. We're testing a new bit of code and will continue this for a couple more hours. I'll be back later today. A workaround is for you to create your own restore point and then use JRT.
  7. Quick update... we're still tracking this one down. It does appear to be limited to just Windows 10 version 1607 build 14393.187. JRT is working fine except it does not create a restore point (even though it says it does). A workaround is for you to create your own restore point and then use JRT. More to come in the morning...
  8. Thanks for the confirmation. We're still working on this. We'll share more when we know more...
  9. We're tracking a small System Restore bug over here in this thread. Going to lock this one and kindly invite you to join us there.
  10. Hi @tacua! Can you confirm which version of Windows 10 you have? Is it 14393.187? We're seeing an issue with some .187 machines (and not with others). To find your version: Launch the Run command using Windows Key + R Type "winver" and then enter Thanks!
  11. No worries! We always welcome the dialogue. Mind if I lock this now since it's resolved?
  12. It was disabled when I viewed it last night. You had it from your permissions under the Malware Hunters group. @David H. Lipman isn't part of this group.
  13. Yep, their setting was also disabled but is now back to enabled.
  14. Sorry, should have include a </I'm not going crazy, right?> tag. We're constantly double-checking ACP stuff with each other as we've found quite a few settings adjusted and no one from our team did anything. In fact, we saw one issue happen multiple in a row with three of us checking each other's work at the same time. Try it now.
  15. I'm seeing the same thing. Do you recall when this changed? @David H. Lipman - looping you in on this... in the ACP, this feature is disabled for the entire Expert group. We did have this enabled for this group, right?
  16. ^ this. I too use LastPass, Chrome and Malwarebytes (MBAM and MBAE) both personally and professionally. Within Malwarebytes, we use LastPass along side our products and there are currently no issues. For me, I've had this setup for almost two years and have not seen a single issue.
