  1. @ Rednose once your post count reaches 50 you will become an " Honorary Member " and also be able to edit your posts. Once you reach that status, and you keep up with the forum, they ask for folks to beta test, especially if you are having problems (with malwarebytes program) that need to be fixed.
  2. I too run McAfee Enterprise, and the only way to make sure it runs smoothly together is to have the delayed start.
  3. Not on the staff for malwarebytes.... but I know they have a great program.... Glad it solved your problem.... you should look into getting the full version as it will give you real time protection.
  4. Hello halflife, and welcome to Malwarebytes.... Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org
  5. maybe a readme file to open after an install of malwarebytes.....
  6. if you are talking about the WRT54G, then yeah I am familier with it and mine has been working great. Like I said, dont run the CD, it only installs un-needed software on your computer. Once you have it send me a PM, or post here and we will help you set it up.
  7. yes those malware writers are figuring out the things we try and catch them, like renaming the MBAM.exe file to something random does not work in some infections any longer..... We will win the battle one way or another.
  8. I never use the CD and I don't use that auto config feature either.... I like to do it all manual and its not that hard.... lots of us here use them and I am sure when you get ready to configure it we can walk you through it.
  9. Welcome aboard Merijn!!! I have heard only great thing about him!!!
  10. yes I have noticed, once a box is infected it kills about every app out there we like to use to clean it.... Just had to ask and hear it I guess..... It would be nice though.....
  11. Not sure how to ask this so here is my feeble attempt. OK we know that when a computer is infected, we are going to run Malwarebytes on it. We get it installed, update it, then we launch it. (assuming that the virus/malware let you launch it). We start a scan, and a few seconds later the MBAM.exe closes and you can no longer run it. Is there a way of making it where MBAM.exe can not be closed or end task unless it was generated by mbam.exe itself? Can that be done, or is it not even feasible.
  12. From the guys here at malwarebytes..... There are a bunch of good folks here that provide support for this great product, even for free....
  13. Vous pourriez essayer et pourriez lire de la Protection d'IP ICI Voir si qui aide. You could try and read about the IP Protection HERE See if that helps.
  14. I know what you mean YoKenny1 about the flashed firmware. I bought one at a garage sale for $2 once and when I plugged it in, it worked, when I went to configure wireless I noticed it had a modified firmware. It was easy to reload it the way it came from factory. I just mentioned it for info I guess..... It sure did have a lot of options that Linksys firmware did not have.
  15. Wow!! CONGRATULATIONS AND GREAT WORK MALWAREBYTES!! You guys are the best. Best part is the for FREE part......

  18. I am not sure you will be able to update if your IE is not working? Why do you say it is not working. We may have to correct that first.
  19. Hello CaseyJones, and welcome to Malwarebytes.org, with a file named "xfqqejd" it sure appears you may be infected. If you have not tried installing Malwarebytes and updating it, try that first, if that does not work, then follow the instructions listed below: We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums. 20. @ you can test that if you like, but I do not think it would be a fair test, as MBAM would not corrupt the file. There are so many things that could cause it to get corrupted. It may download just fine the second time around. You would probably have to download it a few times with protection enabled and disabled to know for sure. Utorrent should have things in place that checks each piece that it recieves and if it is bad, it redownloads that piece. So not sure what to tell you, aside that MBAM would not corrupt it. If MBAM blocks an IP, you would not be able to get to it, or even download it to begin with. Besides the IP blocks you are getting are probably from other locations trying to connect you you so that you can upload the file to them.
  21. because the name of the file, I suspect it is a Trojan, probably designed to download trojans and malware to your computer, also being that it is inside your recycle bin, then its safe to remove the infection.
  22. Yes I use utorrent from time to time, and I do get pop-ups that Malwarebytes is blocking IP addresses, I do not ignore them either, I let MBAM do its job, and I have not received any corrupt files from utorrent when I have used it.
