  1. Do you have your firewall set up to allow for MBAM to update through it? Please allow mbam.exe and mbamservices.exe. Please let me know if this helps.
  2. For you Memory you can use a program called MemTest86 (look for it on google) For your hard drive go to the manufacturer's web site and download their testing too... Please use TFC to clear temporary files: Run TFC by OldTimer to clear temporary files: Please download TFC from here or here and save it to your desktop. Close any open programs and Internet browsers. Double click TFC.exe to run it and once it opens click on the Start button on the lower left of the program to allow it to begin cleaning. Please be patient as clearing out temp files may take a while. Once it completes you may be prompted to restart your computer, please do so. Once it's finished you may delete TFC.exe from your desktop or save it for later use for the cleaning of temporary files. After it's done and you've restarted your PC run another scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Please let us know how it goes.

  4. Check ip settings on xp workstations.... Make sure if they are DHCP that you check your DHCP server to make sure you have the right DNS setting Gateway and IP range. When it is applying settings it is also applying Group Polices, make sure you don't have errors in your GP's....
  5. Hello and There are so many variables to this.... Start by doing some diagnostics on your computer... Test memory Hard Drive Clean temp files Run scans for viruses... Like you said it could have just been a fluke too....

Please do the following: Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates. Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it. As far as how to register it, you can watch this video located

  9. Hello and Funny you should mention that, I have just worked on a computer with exactly this infection, and I used the free version of Malwarebytes to clean it.... So Yes the free version will work....   17. Are you getting the BSOD on both computer? I see you now own two licenses one for each computer. If you still have the two installed with the same ID and Key then follow the instructions above to remove it from one computer and then re-install it with the second ID and KEY. Now to slove the BSOD issue... If it is an infection trying to change these items then it is best to seek help from the experts to look over your logs and see if there is something else that is causing these changes.
