If you have scanned with Malwarebytes you have certainly removed the cause of your problem but the browser settings cannot be fixed by Malwarebytes.
To restore this follow this post How to remove the after-effects of adware writed by @treed
If you do not resolve follow this article Upload logs to your ticket using the Malwarebytes Support Tool for Mac but don't post the results here; rather it registers a support ticket and sends the zip files created by email https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
I hope I was helpful

On the Mac? Because normally the complete scan takes me a few seconds.
-
It's true, it appears at the first post installation reboot, but I tried to restart and the second time it doesn't appear anymore. It's just a warning.
We await news from @treed -
I confirm that, as @exile360 says, with the report exported in a .txt file the result appears with deleted or completed.
Unfortunately, nothing similar appears in the summary tab or in the advanced tab of the report within the application
I attach the screenshot (in pieces) of the report inside the app. -
I noticed that in the Malwarebytes 4.x "scan reports" the message "scan completed" rather than the message "scan stopped by user" no longer appears.
It was a function present in Malwarebytes 3.x that I thought was useful to let people know if the report was more or less reliable. In fact, an interrupted scan cannot give us the same security as a completed one but there is no way of knowing it in the aftermath. -

Any advice on what to use, possibly free of charge, for occasional scans of external disks and / or internal disks (with full access to the disk, without any risks, if using Catalina) would be welcome. Thank you @alvarnell and if possible also by @treed.

This morning I opened Malwarebytes and not finding scans and I accidentally discovered that the scan schedule had disappeared. Everything was in order when the Mac was turned off last night
Normally it was done when the Mac was turned on in the morning and then every three hours and today at 10:55 (Italian time) none had been carried out despite the Mac being active for more than three hours.
I'm available for whatever was needed; obviously I proceeded to recreate the planningAt 11:00 the new scheduled scan was performed and nothing was detected.
Definition updates successfully done.
Malwarebytes version 4.2.1.2 - Definitions 4.0.464 from 13/03 morning -
I confirm, even with the Italian version the situation is the same

Safe web browsing is only for the Chrome browser. I quote from Malwarebytes for Android Web Page
QuoteSafer browsing experience
Scans for phishing URLs when you're using the Chrome browser and alerts you when any are detected to ensure you have a safer experience while surfing the web. (Only available for phones and tablets) -
In the meantime you can upload it to VirusTotal.
You can upload the software and test the original link

@alvarnell I thank you for the link provided to me that I read.
I'm aware of what an ad-blocker is doing and now even more aware about Google Safe Browsing.
I asked @adas and @treed for information because this protection is also present on iOS but in addition there is Malwarebytes Web Protection for Safari and I wanted to ask what I could do while waiting for greater protection by Malwarebytes
-
For me, all Ok, just like @1PW
-
On Firefox I only had Malwarebytes Browser Guard.
Is the ad-blocker sufficient for Safari?
Doesn't Google Safe Browsing need additional web protection?
If so I already use Ka-Block! It is the only extension I have
In the meantime, thank you for the new beta version (4.2.11) with automatic update to the new versions received right now while I replied
-
The problem has probably recurred
Today 03/03 at 12:25 definitions updated to 27/02, 27/02, 26/02 in order -

Nothing to report yet, unfortunately. There are some challenges involved with the changes Apple has made to Safari extensions lately.
What do you recommend while waiting?
Is Google Safe Browsing sufficient?
I only use Safari on macOS Catalina 10.15.3
Thank you
PS: I noticed that with Firefox installed the MWB scan takes 18 "on my Mac. Uninstalling Firefox changes to 3". I don't know if it affects all additional browsers. Change little but it's a noticeable difference (6 times as much)

By the way @treed, are there any news for the Malwarebytes extension for Safari (even only in beta)?
Thanks
-
I recommend to you Ka-block! free from the Mac AppStore as ad-blocker. I also only use Safari and have been using it for about 2 years without problems
-
It is not an evercookie but are advertisements on that specific site
-
I recommend you to download (free from the Mac AppStore and from the AppStore) and enable in Safari on both Mac and iPad Ka-Block! a great ad-blocker and you will solve the problem

@AdvancedSetup Please move the post to Malwarebytes for Mac
For OSX Yosemite 10.10.x you need to use Malwarebytes 3.x
The latest version of Malwarebytes requires OSX 10.11 El Capitan
@treed Please provide the link

The account on the Malwarebytes site is only for purchases made on the Malwarebytes site.
The purchase made on the PlayStore is managed directly by Google and allows you to install the product on all your Android / ChromeOS devices connected to the Google account with which you made the purchase (subject to Google limitations); therefore a product key is not released. -
If you are on a Mac, after doing a scan with Malwarebytes, follow this post How to remove the after effects of adware

I ask it because until the old version they updated several times a day (at least web protection and call protection). Ad-Blocker has always updated more sporadically
I attach screenshots
@treed @adas Help me, please.
Thanks
Have a good day
