MalwareBytes has been working fine with the various Insider versions of windows I have installed. However, the most recent version update which is the candidate release for Win 11 is a problem. I discovered Malwarebytes was not running after upgrade. Reinstallation of MalwareBytes fails. The install screen splash stays stuck on 30% for 5 mins and then a  small dialogue box appears with no content. Click and it goes away, but still no MalwareBytes running. This issue, coupled with the annoying habit of Win11 candidate switching off Defender during sleep mode, is a big problem.

@JayCee2 thanks for sharing your feedback and experiences with Malwarebytes running (or in this case not running) on the next version of Windows!! Like @exile360 said, we do not officially support beta or unreleased versions of Windows, so there isn't a whole lot we can do right now as it's just to early in the Windows 11 preview lifecycle. Rest assured that we will keep an eye out for issues like this as we internally test and prepare for Windows 11 later this year.

Yes, it's been resolved on my end. You may want to open a support ticket. They're going to want some diagnostic logs from the affected machines.

@fyang thanks for coming in and saying what I was going to say!! I appreciate the support!!

@API just to confirm, if you are still seeing this issue you will want to create a support ticket so our business support team can get this identified and resolved.

I am trying to post a pretty innocuous question and the the filter on the forum keeps saying it looks like spam. What is triggering that??

    Thanks

Let me look in to this right now for you. I'll follow up via a direct private message to you.

Since it happens after a single search and an attempt to sort results, sort order is considered another search, which makes the sort function unusable.

I totally understand how that can be frustrating, but that happens to be how IPS designed their Search component. It does another Search request when performing a Sort change.

Every time I try change the sort order in a forum specific search this happens.

Hi @BillieBuB , the error message you posted occurs when you have attempted to perform multiple search requests too frequently or in quick succession. It's a default stability feature of the IPS platform and most forums platforms in general to prevent Search Flood attacks.

  6. @vision311 little late to this one, but figured it was still worth mentioning. We have a OneView and Nebula Public API which you could utilize to set up a web hook to get real-time detection events. Go to the API & Services section under Settings in the Nebula or OneView console. Once you are there, click the View API Documentation link at the top for all the details.

  7. @Gwilhelm based on the KB being presented and the system requirements for Windows 7 SP1, it sounds like the issue is that Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 is not enabled on the device or the required KB is missing. If you have verified that KB3140245 or one that supersedes it is installed, then you will want to verify TLS 1.2 is actually enabled. More information on that can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/update-to-enable-tls-1-1-and-tls-1-2-as-default-secure-protocols-in-winhttp-in-windows-c4bd73d2-31d7-761e-0178-11268bb10392

One last thing to check, also make sure .NET 4.5.2 or higher is installed too. That is also needed in addition to TLS 1.2 support on Windows 7 SP1. If needed, the full system requirements can be found here: https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038522274

I am having difficulty in how to share my premium account with my wife's computer.  Can you help?

It looks like you have a license that is good for a total of 3 devices, so you should be able to use one of your additional seats. You can do this by installing Malwarebytes and logging in using your Malwarebytes Account (aka MyAccount) during setup (latest version only) or entering your license key.

If you need assistance getting and sharing your license key, there are a few easy ways to do it:

    1. Open Malwarebytes Premium on your system (not your wife's) and click the Settings gear then go to the Account tab. You license key should be listed here.
    2. Log in to your Malwarebytes Account on our MyAccount website. Details here: https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038523934-Find-my-Malwarebytes-license-key
    3. If you want, you can also share access to your license directly from the MyAccount website. Details on that are here: https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038519814-Share-your-license-key-using-My-Account

  9. Hi @rajkesharilk, I moved your post to the PC Help section since it did not have anything to do with needing support with our Malwarebytes for Windows product.

So our community can better serve you, can you provide some more technical details and errors you are seeing when installing the driver as well as what gamepad specifically you have? Please include screenshots and the full error message/code if possible.
