  1. Any idea why would this occur when installing eM Client? I quit Malwarebytes and the install continued OK. I have since clean installed MB so logs aren't available.
  2. I had two issues: On one Windows 10 computer. Following the install over the top it got the "can't connect to server" issue, same on restart. Ran clean then reinstall, all good. Forgot to save logs before clean On Windows 7 computer, after install, exploit had not started. Started it manually, OK. All good on restart Three other computers updated OK.
  3. I agree that it shouldn't be needed, yet I have seen a few cases on factory 10s that have startup issues that have been resolved by disabling Fast Startup, including an ASUS netbook of mine. Certainly worth trying.
  4. Have you tried disabling Fast Startup in Windows? Right click start > Power Options Click on Choose what the Power buttons do Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable Scroll down to Shutdown settings and Uncheck the box Turn on Fast Start-up Click Save Changes
  5. No, my 64 bit systems are all still bad. I only just tried the 32 bit and in any case there is no new update
  6. Interestingly, my 32 bit Windows 10 system with MB 3.1.2.1733, 1.0.122 1.0.1973 is operating normally, all protection layers on, scans work fine
  7. ... for a month or two - then it won't receive any more updates - end-of-life
  8. This is very disturbing. I would have thought by now there would be extensive testing on updates, given the issues in the past few months.
  9. This is a new problem. The latest version has been running sweet since it was released on my computers then suddenly global failure
  10. I have disabled MB until this is fixed - who know what it is doing behind the scenes
  11. Me too. Web protection turns off and won't start. Restart computer - Web Malware protection off. Cleaned and reinstalled - same issue Very bad indeed! Must be a bad update!
  12. You should be able to use the same key for two installations.
  13. Sorry to butt in here - Ron, out of interest, what issues can occur if the %temp% folder is on another drive? I have it set on a different drive on two computers. Thanks John
