I've downloaded the beta update; however, Word is still blocked as ransomware. Any help??? Also just to double check, how do I check that it is definitely not ransomware just for peace of mind? Yes, Please do. In the meantime please do the following so you may use Office. Add a folder exclusion for the affected program (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12). Refer to Add to the Allow List in Malwarebytes for Windows v4 for details on adding exclusions to Malwarebytes. Please do provide the requested logs so we can take a look. The product was only updated to the new beta version a few hours after the detection occurred. Now that you have the beta version installed, you shouldn't experience the issue. I've restarted my pc since updating Malwarebytes and this still happens. Its only happened with Word and not Excel etc. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
