False positive with my Windows/Mac App: GT4T

Recommended Posts

Dear sir or madam,

I am developer of GT4T, an app that helps translators make use of Machine Translation. It's developed using Autohotkey and NW.js. One of my user who has trouble updating find that Malwarebytes might block it. Please help check.

The home page is https://gt4t.net/ and the direct download link for Windows is:

https://gt4t.net/en/apps/gt4t_win_64_bit/GT4T_setup.exe

Thanks,

Dallas

Hello Dallas,

I'm not seeing a detection on my end. Web site and file are not blocked.

Thanks Porthos. It's maybe something else then.

The correct team will analyze the browser guard detection.

We'll investigate whitelisting the Suspicious Download block in Browser Guard.  In the meantime if you trust the site you can click on either "I want to continue to this site anyway" or to permanently allow it click the check box next to "Do not block this site again for scam".
