Experiencing Issue

Hi,

I have Malware Premium and the addon for Firefox and can't get it to find the malware in the webpage at cleverbot.com. The page refreshes randomly after having a conversation with the bot. I was able to block all the ads with adblock and malware addon. I was hoping someone could reproduce the page refresh/reload thing and pinpoint it. I thought it was a meta/html but those options aren't finding it. Also the java options do not find the issue.

Thanks for any help.

Hello @aperson and :welcome:

Malwarebytes Browser Guard v2.1.5 for Firefox does not report any atypical issues.

Aside from the usual ads/trackers, which you may easily allow/block, and web site software that may require updates, a cursory examination fails to show malicious content.  Please document the source & its report that the above site has an issue.

Thank you.

Hello @aperson:

  1. Please post the time(s) from the YouTube video when you saw the issue.
  2. Please report the version of the Firefox browser installed.
  3. Please remove the MBG extension from Firefox, restart Firefox, re-install the extension, restart Firefox.
  4. Test cleverbot.com again and post your test results.  You need not use YouTube.  You may attach videos to your posts here.

Thank you.

I would recommend saving, exporting your bookmarks as a backup and then reset Firefox

Reset Firefox
Click on Help / Troubleshooting Information then click on the Refresh Firefox button.

Restart your computer now and then go back and reinstall Malwarebytes Browser Guard and let us know how its working now
