  1. 1PW's post in Unable to contact license server was marked as the answer
    Hello @BekaIs and :
Thank you for including the valuable logs!
Respectfully; to the contrary, the above MBST attachment does document Malwarebytes server Hosts blocks. E.g.,
127.0.0.1 keystone.mwbsys.com 127.0.0.1 holocron.mwbsys.com The %WinDir%\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts file needs to be reset per: How to reset the Hosts file back to the default.
Please follow the above resolution procedure for Windows® 10 and let us know the results in your next reply to this topic.
    Thank you.
  2. 1PW's post in v4.6.6.294 Beta? was marked as the answer
    Hello Daniel:
Even in the absence of an official announcement or a release notes entry, and in as much as the mb4_offline download version was made available last week, v4.6.6.294 - 1.0.2189 can likely be regarded as a release rather than a beta.

    Hello @Cale:
    Yes. Both work well together.
Additionally, you may wish to look into the use of uBlock Origin (uBO), installed with default settings, for added browser protection.

    Hello @underworldgamer and :
The Malwarebytes Browser Guard (MBG) log content is sometimes best interpreted by Malwarebytes staffers and/or experienced users:
Click on the “vertical stack of 3 dots” icon illustrated near the upper-right corner of your own post's attachment. Click on the “Support” choice from the pull-down menu. In the window that opens, click on “Download Debug Logs” and a text log will be written to that computer's Desktop. HTH

  13. 1PW's post in [ RESOLVED ] installation token not found - cant activate premium was marked as the answer
    Hello @noykah and
Thank you for the very valuable mbst-grab-results.zip archive attachment which has well documented the root cause of the computer's issue:
Hosts File Blocks ======================================== Host data: 0.0.0.0 serius.mwbsys.com Host data: 0.0.0.0 keystone.mwbsys.com The content of that computer's Windows 10 Pro's HOSTS file is currently blocking the Internet path with the Malwarebytes' servers and it is most strongly recommended the %WinDir%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file be reset to its original/default for normal operation. Please follow Microsoft's Windows 10 based support instructions below:
How to reset the Hosts file back to the default
Please reply to this topic with your results. Thank you.
  14. 1PW's post in Browser Guard for Safari?? was marked as the answer
    Hello @M_S:
The Malwarebytes Browser Guard for Safari is official. Your Apple MacBook must have macOS Catalina 10.15 (or higher) with an updated Safari browser.
If so, have you read the announcement at https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/277106-welcome-to-malwarebytes-browser-guard/ ?
When you do, its link will give you download access, from the official and legitimate Apple App Store, for version 1.0.0 of the public beta extension.
A working Portuguese translation will likely follow in later versions.
    Thank you.
  15. 1PW's post in MB4 Offline Setup Suspicious Download was marked as the answer
    Hello to All:
Lest folks might believe I might still be experiencing a very isolated suspicious download issue with Malwarebytes' MB4 offline installer using Firefox w/MBG on macOS, my issues were definitely resolved in mid-2020 (many MBG revisions ago).
As in many previous months, I gladly updated to the latest MBG today and of course I do not predict any issues.
    HTH and cheers

  17. 1PW's post in [ RESOLVED ] Unable to Activate License was marked as the answer
    Hello @awei2019 and
It is disappointing to read that you spent so much time and effort on this MBAM404101 error issue.  Thank you for the valuable mbst-grab attachment.
The Windows system of the computer in question must have unimpeded Internet access with all Malwarebytes Servers.  For the Malwarebytes product licensing activation procedure to succeed and sustain, this condition, on that computer, must be corrected in either of two ways:
    1) (Preferred) Reset the Windows HOSTS file to its default by following Microsoft's support document for the version of Windows installed using: How to reset the Hosts file back to the default
    or
    2) With a text editor or the Windows Notepad, please open the HOSTS file at:
%WinDir%\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS Then, please permanently delete the following present entry line in the above HOSTS file followed by a save:
127.0.0.1 keystone.mwbsys.com Then, restart Windows 10 and proceed to activate the Malwarebytes 3 for Windows product license.
Please reply to this topic and let the forum know if the Malwarebytes license activation process succeeded.
    Thank you.
