MBAM 4 slow and freeze PC!

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have the same concern as many other Mbam 4.0 users. The pc, at one time, does not respond, or takes an extremely long time to answer, and seems to be frozen. The desktop and the taskbar are affected, no interaction possible). The CTRL + ALT + DEL task manager appears after several minutes. So much so that I thought it was from bad sectors of my hard drive. By consulting the forum and uninstalled MBAM 4.0, the pc no longer has any problems. I have reinstalled an old version 3.8.6 but more news at all. MBAM is a very good protection software and I pay the license for several years, and very satisfied. I use Gdata antivirus in addition. I have also upgraded to win 10 version 1909. I can provide mb-support-1.5.3.749 (FRST) reports made before uninstalling mbam v4. Waiting for a solution and / or patch on these problems freezes pc.

I am not very satisfied with your lack of response.

When you posted last on Friday.. Most of the staff are off and replies are limited.

Gdata antivirus is not compatible with mbam 4.0.

Gdata is not one of the major players in the AV community and staff would would have to do some testing to see what is making it have issues with MB. Unfortunately this can take considerable time.

So far Firefox and my self have not escalated your issue to the staff, At least I have not.

@LiquidTension @AdvancedSetup Have been notified to look at your case. Remember Thanksgiving is around the corner.

Thank you for the answer. I am obviously waiting for a solution to this problem of compatibility. Knowing that I have always used both software in synergy without ever having problems. In the meantime, as a protection solution, I use mbam 4 and Windows defender on win 10 64bits v1909. Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving.
