MalwareBytes Error: 'Unable to connect to service'

I just bought the license, however when assigning the key I get the following message: "the identification of the installation is not found" / "can not contact the license server"

Hello and Welcome...

The reason you are getting this error is because you have a modified hosts file that is preventing Malwarebytes from talking to the activation servers.  You need to remove the entries below from your hosts file.

0.0.0.0 serius.mwbsys.com
0.0.0.0 keystone.mwbsys.com
