Does Malwarebytes have any conflicts with anti-keyloggers

Hi. Not sure if this is the correct forum for my question but seemed the best place.  Does anyone know if Malwarebytes has any conflicts with anti-keylogging software?  I am thinking of installing Zemana Antilogger but wonder if: a) Malwarebytes already does these things and, b) if there would be any conflicts between the programs.  Any advice appreciated. I can't say if there would be conflicts or not, but I will say that Malwarebytes does a great job against keyloggers. Especially with its Anti-Rootkit functionality, it then catches keyloggers and can remove as well. Just my 2c worth

this is based on W7 (not sure about w10)

Im currently on MB 3.4.5 and Keyscrambler and have been using for years and NO problems

Only time is when 1) new release of MB over react 2) if I try and max out the Keyscrambler experimental features

the computer does slow and some times freezes but you can alwasy whitelist any program in MB or stay with the normal settings

I had the setup (still using now) way back when MB was still new and exploring

but as plb4333 mentioned MB has made huge advancement in the recent few upgrades - anti key logger may not be necessary

I may kill the anti keylooger if they ask for money for newer upgrades. good luck :)

No, Malwarebytes shouldn't conflict with dedicated anti-keylogger utilities.  That said, as others have already mentioned, the other layers and new technologies which have been added in recent years to Malwarebytes have make its protection fairly comprehensive, especially against the earlier phases in the attack chain before any threat (keyloggers included) have the chance to get onboard a system, including targeting exploits, droppers, malicious malware hosting sites as well as threat command & control servers and much more, and their heuristics for detecting new and unknown threat executables are second to none, at least in my opinion based on my own experiences and observations.

Thanks everyone for your replies.  I thought I should let you know what happened.  I installed Zemana Antilogger on my Windows 7 toshiba satellite laptop.  It locked up three times in the first two days.  So I thought, one more time and Zemana goes.  Hasn't happened since, it must have heard me.  So I think this combination is ok.

Thanks for the update.  Please keep us advised it if happens again.

Also, if you haven't already, it couldn't hurt to configure exclusions if you haven't already done so.  You can add Zemana's Program Files folder to the Exclusions list in Malwarebytes.  Just launch Malwarebytes and go to Settings>Exclusions then click Add Exclusion and in the dialog that opens leave the first option selected and click Next then click Select Folder... and browse to the location where Zemana is installed and select it then click Select Folder then click OK.

I have two laptops one Windows 10 one Windows 8.1 both running MB3 and zemana AL no issues whatsoever on either one of them.

My Windows 10 laptop was previously Windows 7 and I never had an issue with that one either.
