  1. @ Buttons Ack!! Most of those are pretty pricey. I just want a basic thing for editing photos... tweaking them, making them different... like different effects. Not sure which one that one would be, but that's what I used in school & on my ex's computer like 7 years ago... I don't need anything too fancy Thanks
  2. Happy Birthday! I hope its a fantastic one for you!

  4. I think that LOON3R is right. Take another look at the original post...
  5. If you are using Vista or 7, you may want to check out this tool: http://www.sphinx-soft.com/Vista/order.html It allows greater control of the built-in firewall
  6. Ah gotcha. Well that's something that shouldn't really be helped with too much you know? It needs to be her own work, her own creativity. But those sites have some excellent tips and pointers for writing a great intro. She just needs to figure out what points she wants to hit in the beginning and weave the words together in such a way that it really grabs her readers attention. Good luck to her in writing her assignment
  7. Have her check out these sites (be sure to ignore any advertisements!): http://homeworktips.about.com/od/paperassignments/a/introsentence.htm http://www.ehow.com/how_2085206_write-essay-introduction.html http://www.unc.edu/depts/wcweb/handouts/introductions.html

  13. It does! Are you having trouble figuring out how to use it? If so, please check this out: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...st&p=224633
  14. @jeffce, Glad to hear that your computer is well now Certainly Some background information on the host file: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Host_file HostsMan: http://www.abelhadigital.com/hostsman HostsMan basically is a hosts-file manager, that you can choose different sources to get your definitions from. It blocks based on website address, for example it will let you view forums.malwarebytes.org but not www.somebadsitewithmalware.com You can make exceptions if you find that it is blocking something that you know is safe. Another plus, but not its main function, it blocks the majority of picture & flash-based ads, which I really like. Some people have found trouble using it in Vista & 7, however others have no problems with it at all on those operating systems. You probably don't want to run it at work (depending on computer policy at your workplace) and also I am not sure if it is allowed according to the EULA, but I think you can use it in a business environment. I could find out for you if you're interested and if it turns out that you are allowed to use at your workplace. If you are interested in using HostsMan at all, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to walk you through it Please try to use the add-reply button in the future! (located at the bottom of the page)
  15. I really like XP, and I am really liking W7 so far, and Vista is pretty cool too. I definitely know XP very, very well though.
  16. You can get a money order at any post office, some grocery stores, and some convenience stores. If you do not have a credit card, you can purchase Malwarebytes with a money order, however, you won't receive your license information until they have received payment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_order
