Oh, ok. Does IE7 display the same behavior? If so, then it could be an issue with IE8's caching feature that it uses (similar to that of Firefox) where it remembers the pages you've visited in your various tabs to open them again should the browser crash or you accidentally close it when you only meant to close a single tab.

Alright, I found the manual online and it says the appropriate settings should be 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz.. To verify these settings open the NVIDIA control panel, accessible by either right-clicking on your desktop background or in their tray icon (the little green eye with a squiggle). Check the display resolution and make sure it is set to 1280 x 1024 and verify that the refresh rate is set to 60 Hz.

Let me know if this helps or not or if you have any questions.

Thanks <_<

Have you tried the monitor with a different PC? If it's older it is possible that it's starting to fail as I've seen similar problems with LCD's I've owned when they started to age.

I'm glad the IE issue is resolved at least, and now you've got a slightly faster PC with less junk on the box, that's always a plus <_< .

Once you get everything adjusted correctly in the NVIDIA driver settings, go ahead and press button 2 once on your monitor to see if it helps things. This is the Auto-Adjust button and will enable the monitor to refresh and re-detect its settings. If it doesn't help you can also go into the monitor's own settings as documented in the manual here and play with things a bit, just be careful and remember button 2 should you make an adjustment that renders your screen blank or unreadable as it will reset it back to defaults.

Let me know how it all works out.

Thanks ;)

I reset the screen colors and other stuff , now the picture is clearer , sharper even though some dark black writing (like on the forum) is a bit <_< ~ colored it is clearer - That is (I think) only because I lifted the settings a touch higher than normal -

I think we have got the autoruns items cleaned as good as we can - ;) - Still trying to remove some of the items AdvancedSetup picked , and I will over the next few days -

Thank you for all the help with cleanup etc :D -
