Malwarebytes v4 was a little bit heavy, that's right,

A little bit, no! That's not true.

So, please, YOU do not spread lies without knowing the real developement path behind this software, only because you need a justification to continue using a discontinued version of MBAM, in order to keep cracking it with the keygen and not paying for a legal subscription

Be careful what you say, you poor soul! I am a customer owning a legally acquired licence. So, stop spreading lies! What you are writing here is slander and defamation against persons. That's actually all you are able to do and probably all your stunted mind can manage.

Did MB stop making definition updates to v. 1.75?

We have officially stopped supporting v1.75 many years ago.

This is a statement that one can immediately believe. In fact, the update of the virus definitions in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 worked perfectly until 13/03/2024. And thus all statements about the incompatibility of the current definitions with such an old programme version, which have been repeatedly spread here by the moderators in recent years and even in this thread, have proven to be wrong. And the fact that suddenly nothing works anymore is of course a deliberate intervention by Malwarebytes to artificially herald the death process. This is very, very unfortunate.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 was and is the lightest, most resource-saving, fastest and most compatible antimalware programme ever. The protection was completely sufficient for me and many other users, and ideal for older computers. Please, pass these statements on to the developers! Thanks in advance!

Those updates were delivered from a different server and in an entirely different format than the current versions use.

That's not the point, and everyone knows that the format has changed.
But it was possible to provide up-to-date virus definitions for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300, contrary to the statements made here. So, it was and is technically feasible.

But it seems like updates are done. That seems to be the point. Long after the end of the life of the product.

You have been on borrowed time for the last 7 years.

It is not worth the cost or effort to keep that old update system and server running.

I can promise you the scanning, detection, and removal capabilities of the 1.7x program vs. the 4.x or 5.x is night and day difference.

The complexity of attacks has greatly increased over the years and you should be using an up to date product if you truly are concerned about safety and protection.
