  1. That's not the point, and everyone knows that the format has changed. But it was possible to provide up-to-date virus definitions for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300, contrary to the statements made here. So, it was and is technically feasible.
  2. This is a statement that one can immediately believe. In fact, the update of the virus definitions in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 worked perfectly until 13/03/2024. And thus all statements about the incompatibility of the current definitions with such an old programme version, which have been repeatedly spread here by the moderators in recent years and even in this thread, have proven to be wrong. And the fact that suddenly nothing works anymore is of course a deliberate intervention by Malwarebytes to artificially herald the death process. This is very, very unfortunate. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 was and is the lightest, most resource-saving, fastest and most compatible antimalware programme ever. The protection was completely sufficient for me and many other users, and ideal for older computers. Please, pass these statements on to the developers! Thanks in advance!
  3. A little bit, no! That's not true. Be careful what you say, you poor soul! I am a customer owning a legally acquired licence. So, stop spreading lies! What you are writing here is slander and defamation against persons. That's actually all you are able to do and probably all your stunted mind can manage.
  4. Please do not spread untruths to justify decisions that are not understood by your customers! Many of them do not understand why good software should be discontinued and replaced by cumbersome software which is heavy on resources. Unfortunately, this is an undesirable development. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75.0.1300 was the best your company had developed. Lightweight, fast, low memory consumption. However, the following applies to subsequent versions: The more recent, the more cumbersome. The more recent, the more memory-hungry. The more recent, the more incompatible. All in all, the newer, the worse. Who wants such rubbish? Nobody, actually. My advice: Change strategy of development! Bloated OS like the crappy Windows 11 should be a cautionary example of how software should not be developed.
  5. :OT Why does not exist an editing function for posts in this forum? :End of OT Another correction, previous post can be deleted: Right! I am that AstroSkipper. TBH, I didn't expect such a reply. Your apology is accepted. BTW, MSFN is a great, technical forum with many talented and technically versed members. It is definitely not a last stronghold for Windows XP diehard fans, although I am such one indeed, but a technical forum for all Windows OSs and much more. Only FYI. 🙂 Cheers, AstroSkipper
  6. That is clear to see. But being snide and mocking fans of good operating systems, which aren't littered with junk, always works, doesn't it? 🤔 And, I am always pleased to see how kindly people like you judge others who do not want to use the modern crap. 👎 PS: Post above can be deleted. Due to the fact that editing posts is impossible in this forum I had to correct my previous post this way.

  8. Once again, addressed to the moderators! Please, change the title of my thread either to "Windows XP Lifetime Support?" or "Does Windows XP have lifetime support?"! The current title is not what I wanted and finally misleading. Thanks for your efforts!
  9. Thanks for the information! But the title was not the desired one. My topic, my title. I have specially added a question mark after Windows XP Lifetime Support because that is the topic here. The title you have chosen is only your answer, but not my topic. I wanted the title "Windows XP Lifetime Support?"
  10. And this is addressed to the moderators! The title you chose for this thread is simply wrong. This thread is not about lifetime licenses. Please change it to "Windows XP Lifetime Support?"! Thanks in advance!
  11. To speak plainly now, is there already a date when Malwarebytes Premium 3.5.1.2522 will not receive definition updates anymore?
  12. BTW, I did not choose the title of this thread. It's simply wrong. The title should be "Windows XP Lifetime Support". It seems I can't change it but maybe one of the moderators.
  13. Sorry no, you are wrong. Here is one of many news in terms of Windows XP support: https://www.techspot.com/news/56108-malwarebytes-pledges-to-provide-lifetime-support-for-xp-users.html And a short quotation from there:
  14. No, Malwarebytes advertised to support Windows XP lifetime after support of Windows XP ended. Your more recent do not support Windows XP anymore. Please don't twist the arguments!
  15. Hello, ladies and gentlemen here! I have now followed this and many other threads long enough. The way Windows XP and Vista users are talked about here is beyond good and evil.... And then to hype Windows 10, and even Windows 11, the biggest crap of all times, is already unbelievable. There are still many people like me for example who think Windows XP (and Vista) is the best operating system ever. And there are countries and institutions that depend on these systems. Moreover, the argument that these operating systems are insecure is not really true, either. I am sure that Windows 10 and 11 are attacked and successfully infected much more often due to many reasons and especially because everyone gets this new stuff foisted on them by Microsoft, whether they like it or not. And nothing is really mature yet. One breakdown after the other! Attacks on the Windows XP and Vista operating systems are now hardly worthwhile for hackers and criminals. Do not forget, the newer is not necessarily the better! And of course you can delete as many references to these old systems and Malwarebytes versions here in this forum as you want. We already know this kind of procedure from Microsoft. They have also tried to embezzle collected knowledge from people. Anyway! A little more respect in dealing with customers of these so-called legacy operating systems Windows XP and Vista would be very desirable and appropriate. I bought a premium licence back then after Malwarebytes announced that they would support Windows XP and Vista lifetime in the form of signature updates. Lifetime! I sincerely hope that Malwarebytes sticks to its promise and does not disappoint such users. Because what you are doing here is disappointing, though. 😕 Kind regards, AstroSkipper One of your "legacy" customers!
