Hello @Aryna and :welcome::

Would you please confirm whether users are required to uninstall Malwarebytes-Mac-4.6.13.3835.pkg or Malwarebytes-Mac-5.0.72.422.pkg before installing Malwarebytes-Mac-5.0.102.681.pkg?

I might recall that an uninstall of MB4 for Mac was compulsory.

My MBP18,1 experienced MB5_mac_preview crashes (reported in this sub-forum) under macOS Ventura and Sonoma. Have these crashes been resolved?

Thank you.

Hello @1PW and thanks for your interest in Mac Beta preview.
There's no need to uninstall your previous Beta preview Malwarebytes-Mac-5.0.72.422.pkg or your current MB4.

If you're subscribed to Beta program in MB4 settings -> you will receive a Beta 2 preview automatically within a few days.

You can trigger the new Beta update in MB4 by going to Malwarebytes Settings/Check for Updates (Note: Beta Application Updates checkbox in Settings should be checked).
Or you can manually install the latest Beta update using the link in the post above.

We fixed several previously reported crashes. Please do let us know if any of the issue persists.

  • 3 weeks later...

A couple of issues to report about v5.0.102 BETA.

RTProtection is always at or near the top of CPU users from around 85-100%CPU when Malwarebytes is not scanning, not updating definitions and no VPN.

This crash from earlier today
