Greetings,

I'm sorry the software isn't working properly but we'll do our best to help.

To begin, please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

Thanks

Controllers Version:     1.0.1236

Please do the following Uninstall and reinstall using the Malwarebytes Support Tool

Please have lots of patience with the tool.  The first phase is a cleanup and does require a Windows Restart.
After the Restart, it may take 2 - 3 - 4 minutes till the Support tool screen shows up.   Please be patient and have faith.  Wait for it, whatever it takes.
The 2nd phase is where it offers to do a new Install.

Let me know if that clears up the issue or not.

Get what ever updates Windows will offer for Windows 7.

To ensure that your Windows 7 PC is up to date with the latest Microsoft Windows updates follow the steps below:

  • Click the Start Menu
  • In the Search Bar, search for Windows Update
  • Select the Windows Update from the top of the search list
  • Click on the Check for Updates button.  Select any updates that are found to install.

If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.

Hello @naraken90

Due to the age of your computer it's probably best we get a different set of logs and I'll see if I can walk you through updating your computer. There are some updates but you cannot update directly through Microsoft updates for some of them as Microsoft has stopped supporting Windows 7

Never mind. I found you do have the FRST logs

C:\Users\ramirez\Downloads\FRSTEnglish.exe

Let me review and get back to you soon.

The following is not good.

System errors:
=============

Error: (04/15/2021 06:18:28 PM) (Source: Disk) (EventID: 11) (User: )
Description: The driver detected a controller error on \...\DR1.

There could be different issues for this but often it's due to a failing hard drive. Please make sure  your data is backed up to an external USB hard drive. Then run the following.

Start an Admin command prompt using CMD.EXE and then type in the following.

ECHO Y|CHKDSK C: /R

Then restart the computer and let it run. This will probably take a few hours or more to run so make sure you have time to run it.

Let us know once this is done

Thanks
