Lifetime Account Failure

I have 3 Lifetime PC Licenses that I bought through Malwarebytes (Cleverbridge). Two licenses where bought in 2010 and the other in 2011. At that time I bought the licenses with an AOL.com email address and my name. I never made a Malwarebytes Account with these three PC licenses under AOL. 

Just recently I bought Malwarebytes for Mac license and made a Malwarebytes Account under the email that I am using now. (Gmail.com) and my name. I have no problems with the Mac Account. I am having problems with making an account with the 3 lifetime licenses that I bought. When trying to register an account I get "Name is already Registered". I tried to put the Lifetime licenses in the Mac account I get "Product Already Registered.

I still have the emails on AOL.Com from Cleverbridge with all the information, Cleverbridge Reference Numbers, ID Number, Key Number etc.

I don't use AOL.com anymore. Can I get these 3 Lifetime Licenses to show up on the Gmail account that I have my Mac License on that is working perfectly with my Mac?

If you haven’t already done so, please run the Malwarebytes Support Tool and then attach the logs in your next reply:

  1. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file

    • You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent.
  4. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
  5. You will be presented with a page stating, "Get Started!"
  6. Click the Advanced tab on the left column

  8. A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed with getting logs from your computer

  9. Upon completion, click a file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop. Click OK

Thank you @Porthos for the quick reply. Yes, Support was my next step. I was just wondering if they can merge 2 email accounts. I'll send in the ticket today and post the results. Thank you. :)

Hi Popeye.

Same as what Porthos mentioned. 

Not to throw any curve or anything.  You can contact Cleverbridge to have their records on your purchases from the past, to update your contact Email address.

Just provide them your Full name and the Cleverbridge Reference numbers and your current Email address.

You are welcome.  Yes, do stick with the ticket.

My suggestion is not meant as a substitute.  It is meant as a way to have your purchase records at Cleverbridge only  to reflect your current email address.  Think of it as archival record protection.

As Malwarebytes Support is the only one that can correct the issue and the user will open a ticket I will go ahead and close this topic now.

 


Find my premium license key

Create your My Account profile
https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1036

Once setup is complete, you are logged into My Account, where you can:

    manage your subscriptions
    view your order history
    retrieve your license keys
    deactivate your licenses
    download the latest Malwarebytes software
    update your billing information

Your My Account profile only shows purchases registered to your login email.  You must set up a new My Account login for each email address you have registered with Malwarebytes.
