Is version 3.2 being pushed yet

Hi,

I was wondering if version 3.2 is being pushed yet. I have a licensed copy that's at 3.1.2.1733 and was wondering when I might receive the new version through normal updates.

I would highly suggest you just do the following.

Just download the latest installer from : https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mb3

Run the installer on top of your existing product. No need to uninstall.

Most of the times our upgrades are Metered out so not all people will get the latest version at the same time.

The best solution for now would be to follow @Porthos advice and manually download and run the latest installer.

Thank you for the responses.

However I just need assurance that I'll receive the update through the normal update channel. I should not have to periodically check this forum and do manual updates.

You might not necessarily get the Major version upgrade due to the metering but you should get Automatic Database updates as they are set to run automatically every hour.

You should also get the Component updates automatically. 

Please have the following settings turned on in the product.

Sorry to butt in here, but I was just wondering.  3.2 was released back in August.  Should people really have to wait more than a month and a half to have it metered out to them?  Is that a "normal" metering period?

The metering was slowed down because many were having upgrade issues.

The recommendation I made was to get you up to date with a version that avoids that issue and will install a version that is better than the one your on now.

Is the problem then that version 3.1.2 sometimes doesn't update properly? Is that why you're recommending a manual update using https://downloads.malwarebytes.org/file/mb3 ?

Yes, Sometimes it does have issues for some users.

There was one problem in the 3.2.2 installer during the upgrade due to which the metering was thinned out quiet a bit. Things should be back to normal now.
