  1. Yes, if you don't see it update tomorrow please share your logs and screenshots of the MBAM vs BG block statistics.
  2. You may try restarting your browser if it's been open for a while.
  3. Malicious blocks are shared in real-time. Ad/Tracker blocks are shared every 24 hrs because of the sheer volume of the them.
  4. @brad03 appreciate the feedback. We haven't completed integration of MB5 & BG but will ensure this is addressed.
  5. @nukecad appreciate the feedback. We can set the notification to appear in the Windows notification area as you mention, unfortuntely it requires us to ask for an extra permission. Permissions seem to make people uneasy so we try to keep them to a minimum. We'll see what other feedback we get and proceed from there.
  6. Can you please try clicking on the Factory Reset and see if that helps?
  7. @nukecad We decided on the pop up route rather than delivering our traditional block page. The pop up should only show up when a malicious script is encountered. The fear is that without the pop up you could unknowingly share the site with family & friends that may not be using BG. In that case they become compromised. This at least brings attention to the malware. Regarding the complainers about popup notifications, we will had a setting to bypass it in the next release but I HIGHLY recommend it not be turned off for the reason above.
  8. We are at the mercy of the store review/approval process.
  9. @Badran apologies, a bug has been identified resulting in the issue you are seeing. A new version of Browser Guard was released today, v2.6.2 but the fix in question will be in the following version 2.6.3 that we hope to release late next week.
  10. @nukecad there is a new notification included in the just released V2.6.2. If we blocked a mailicious element inside an otherwise safe website we blocked the mailicious item and allowed things to proceed. A credit card skimmer is one example. This happened silently unless you happened to open the BG UI while visiting the site in question. If a site was deemed entirely malicious we'd throw a block page. Now you will receive a 5 second notification alerting you when a malicious element has been blocked. Here's an example:
  11. Hi @HotShot Confirming that the option you're requesting would be equivalent to this feature in the opened UI? But also available in the tray context menu?
  12. I am not seeing this. Do you only experience it in dark mode? What is your screen resolution set to?
  13. The permission allows Malwarebytes Browser Guard and Malwarebytes Premium to communicate so customers using both have a better experience. Since browser extensions are sandboxed by the browser we have no way of knowing whether Malwarebytes Premium is present so the permission has to be served to everyone. If you aren't using Malwarebytes Premium then the permission doesn't change anything with the Browser Guard process or experience. Not accepting the permission will keep you stuck on an older version and put your device at risk by missing new protections being added to the product.
  14. @Figtree_2525 we are preparing to work on such a feature in our Browser Guard product (https://www.malwarebytes.com/browserguard) but unfortunately it's likely 2 months away.
  15. Please confirm you are running v2.5.8 and if so share a screen shot of the block you are receiving.
  16. Unfortunately Apple does not provide the same capabilities as are available in the other other browsers to customize the block messages.
  17. Try http://hijacktest.malwarebytes.com/
  18. The db's are updated twice per hour. The "Check for DB updates" button is really for the instance where you've encountered an FP that a researcher has addressed for you and you don't want to wait the 30-40 mins for your db's to update in normal timing. The button should not be getting stuck on "Updating" though.
  19. This is a bug, we'll address it in our next Beta release.
  20. Thank you as always @brad03 Thank you @digmorcrusher we will look into this.
  21. We're happy to make a Beta version of Malwarebytes Browser Guard available that adheres to the requirements of Google's Manifest v3. While the enforcement of Manifest v3 is pending further direction from Google (likely in March) we wanted to make a Beta available for early testing. Should you be interested in participating in the Beta review please see our Browser Guard Manifest v3 Beta forum located under our Beta Testing Program section near the top of these forums. The direct link is https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/274-browser-guard-manifest-v3-beta/. Any comments or issues discovered should be left in the Beta forum. This forum space will remain for our existing production version of our Chrome extension. Thank you for your support!
  22. The following known issues are present in the Beta and will be addressed: No version migration No native host connection to Malwarebytes Premium Malware & Scams categories were combined and there may be some lacking UI elements Continue button on block page isn't working if the block is due to ruleset override Block count still showing when toggled off
