  1. Do any Malwarebytes developers have any comments about this? Maybe a fix is needed?
  2. According to this page https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/14875038019219-Malwarebytes-Browser-Guard-Support-screen the "Share anonymous detection and device data with Malwarebytes" option should not exist for Safari. But it very much is there as a toggle. And it is switched on as default. And whenever you quit the browser and open it again, the toggle is switched back on again, not respecting that you have toggled it off. So this seems to be a bug. Either this toggle should not be there Safari, or it should be OFF.
  3. Does Malwarebytes browser guard on Safari on a Mac also block sites with malware and PUP designed for Windows? Or does it only block URLs with malware and PUP for Mac?
  4. Ok, thanks for the explanation! Exactly @gatortail , something seems to be wrong with the button that the developers need to look into. Thank you for your presence here in the forum. Much appreciated.
  5. Thank you very much @gatortail, much appreciated. That page was blocked, so it seems to work. But only with a text that Safari can't load the page because it was blocked by an extension. So it's not the classic page that you get in Edge and Chrome where it clearly says that Malwarebytes has blocked the page and where I also can click to continue if I want to. Shouldn't that be possible in Safari as well? I understand that Safari maybe is a bit more restrictive, but it should be possible, right?
  6. And another thing @gatortail For clarity and transparency, the best thing would be to add the date and time for when it was last updated and the current DB version, either below or above the "Check for DB updates" button. Then it would be clear when the DBs were last updated. Would that be possible?
  7. Thank you @gatortail. When I click on "Check for DB updates" in the extension on the Support tab, then the button almost everytime gets stuck on "Updating". So I have to click down the icon extension and click on it again and one more time click on "Check for DB updates". And then it just says "DBs are up to date". So there seems to be some kind of problem that needs to be fixed since the button gets stuck on "Updating" so much.
  8. @gatortail: maybe you have a suggestion on how to confirm that the extension is working? Maybe a safe malware test site?
  9. I read in a previous release notice that PUP database was removed from the extension on Safari.. So I am wondering, does Malwarebytes Browser Guard for Safari block PUPs? Because now there are only three alternatives in the extension: Ads, Malware och Scams. But no PUP. So is blocking PUPs included in the Malware option, or removed completely from the extension?
  10. Is there a way to safely test that Malwarebytes Browser Guard for Safari actually works in blocking harmful sites and is a good security extension compared to other alternatives?
