  1. Hi, I did a quick scan just now and Malwarebytes found fsquirt.exe in System32 as a Trojan Dropper. I think that this is a false positive. Also it has been a file on the computer since 2004. It was found before the heuristics part of the scan. Here is my log and a copy of the file attached. Also just now the PM module has come up with fsquirt.exe as a threat as I am locating the file to attach to this post... I decided to minimize it and the computer froze for a bit. Probably not a good idea to minimized the PM I ended up using TaskManger to end the open Mbam windows so that my machine would unfreeze. It came up again when I went to send it to a zip folder and for now I chose "Ignore". This is the first time that I have ever seen the PM module come up to me on my machine and it was not SpyCar . Thank you

  4. I am extremely saddened to hear this news. He was a really nice person and very pleasant to communicate with. May his family and friends find some peace during this difficult time and may he rest in peace.
  5. Well even then I don't think I got infected, at least it has been a long time! I do not even remember the last time.
  6. Weeeellll I haven't gotten infected in a long time. I use Kaspersky AV, Mbam Pro & a HostsFile
  7. I use Kaspersky and for those who cannot afford to purchase or do not want to purchase an antivirus and/or who don't want to have to do much configuration on an antivirus, I recommend Microsoft Security Essentials.
  8. Hello, Do you have the original email that your Malwarebytes license was sent to? If not, you will need to contact Cleverbridge: http://www.cleverbridge.com/corporate/support/contact-us
  9. Likely to result in a worse outcome than just showing your papers. Frankly I don't find it that funny. But if purely a joke and not actually practiced, then yes it is funny.
  10. haha And if you have an iPhone or an iPod touch, looks like you can get an app of it
  11. Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours to everyone who is celebrating
  12. It does but my reply from before still applies: ...but nothing is 100% foolproof. You also need to take care to make sure such things as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, Java, your browser, your operating system, etc... are all up to date & patched.
  13. You are now very well protected but nothing is 100% foolproof. You also need to take care to make sure such things as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash Player, Java, your browser, your operating system, etc... are all up to date & patched.
  14. Personally, all my passwords are different and they are completely random. I am not sure if any of the accounts I have will allow special characters but that is a good thing to have in a password as well. Sometimes I do have a word but I'll have it upper/lower & abbreviated or spelled uniquely... And they tend to be at least 10 characters long if not longer!
