  1. Well I was going through my programs that were installed on my PC. I found this unknown one called SafeSaver 1.74. Doesn't have a publisher or file size or version, it just shows when i installed it. Can someone tell me what it is? I hope it isn't anything bad. I've had it installed apparently since somewhere last year, 2012. I just now noticed it there. I hope it's not a form of malware...
  2. Ok I NOW have downloaded the free version of Microsoft Security Essentials. now i have this AND the full version of malwarebytes, so am I now fully protected?
  3. But if I don't have a antivirus malwarebytes will do just as good right?
  4. Okay. I was worried because I was afraid I might get infected with something my malwarebytes could not pick up. So if I were to get infected with a virus that my protection could not pick up, would it shut my protection down or what. And I thought my protection would protect my PC against just about anything, I am a newbie cause I just got your software not too long ago. I got the full version of malwarebytes by the way. I heard that this protection isn't that good against viruses but is good against Malware. I am just confused, can someone help me. and maybe give me some tips?
  5. Ok. Everytime I scan my PC it always picks up the same thing, a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Security Center\UpdatesDisableNotify And a Red shield comes up at the bottom right of my screen near my clock and it says that my Automatic updates is turned off which I know it is cause I am the one that turned it off cause I heard that they don't make updates for Windows XP anymore and that it could damage my PC if I leave it on so I turned if off. so do I need to turn it back on to have my malwarebytes to work or what?, I am just so confused. Can Someone please help me?. and I have the Full version of MalewareBytes by the way.
  6. Ok, I never had Malwarebytes before. My neighbor bought me the full version of this software and it works good, anyway, I heard they are making more malware then viruses, is that true?
