Simultaneously, testing a beta app with a beta macOS is not a good practice.

Though there may still be an obscure undisclosed issue not previously documented, MB5 Premium Plus BETA_PREVIEW for macOS (v5.0.72.422), appears to be otherwise compatible with macOS 14.0 Sonoma on my MBP18,1.

The installer itself is still not compatible with Sonoma

As was previously documented elsewhere in this forum, MB5 for Mac needed to be first installed in macOS 11 Big Sur to macOS 13 Ventura before upgrading to macOS 14 Sonoma.

The team is currently targeting October 23 for a refreshed beta that will include macOS Sonoma compatibility. Until then, AFAIK there are no issues with Sonoma and you should be able to upgrade to Sonoma with the MB5 beta installed without any problems. You just won't be able to do a new install on Sonoma.
