Why are you requring your software keep my Credit Card details on the Box?

I purchased a two years subscription through the website and never keep my credit card details on any computer. Today I registered the purchase and find the website is keeping my credit card details on my computer! WHY?

I tried to delete them from the machine butthey cannot be deleted because they are associated with the purchase of the package. This is not a great solution. I want the credit card details removed from the computer
